He has read Silmarillion multiple times, I don't think huge is enough to define that.
I've come exactly as far as with the Bible - so, ten pages in or so ...
Frozenspokes
I've read it twice. So many great stories in that book.
KingKelloggTheWaffleHaggler
Question is has he read the unfinished tales and Children of hurin
Bobadook13
Or Beren and Luthien, or the fall of Gondolin.
FrozenWatcher
Yeah he mentioned them in the same video where he mentioned beating the Tolkein expert during The Hobbit filming.
Kensidian
I have no idea but I guarantee the answer is yes. Because Stephen Colbert.
Relykwastaken
I love tolkien and I'm struggling to get through the silmarillion. Its a different book altogether from LotR and the Hobbit
It's more a summary of the history of the world in lotr, not one story plot. But separate stories in it like "children of Huron" are great
The book, children of Huron, that is. Check it out! I still need to get my hands on beren and lûthien
