Yep it is a hot dog to cold off to become an ice dog.

Will he get a major brain freeze?

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I don't know why you would try to raise a husky in a warm climate. Poor doggo. :(

his fur pattern looks like a middle aged man’s receding hairline.

Not as angerey as before. Definitely an improvement. Git cold, snow baby!

I want a huskie but I live in an apartment and I'm not sure how they handle 80-95F weather

PSA: don’t give too much ice or very cold water to dogs on super hot days, it’ll cramp their tummies

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 2

I never even thought of that.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I understand that was a false rumor spread a few years ago. The stomach turning thing is random and not involving cold treats.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

It’s not the turning, it’s just cramping that isn’t good for them. The trainers I work with in Texas say it so I’m inclined to believe them

Poor dog was bred to be in the Arctic, of course it’s going to eat ice.

I see huskies in Hawaii and I feel so bad for them :(

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

My dog was bred to be in America. Still eats ice.

"of course", what are you, a pseudo biologist?

My neighbors have a young Husky pupper & the only time it gets out is when they take it out to potty. Our 1bed/1bath apts are a little 1/?

Less than 700sqft. He howls and cries when they leave him alone. He gets no exercise or anything fun. I feel so bad for him.

I have a beagle who loves to eat ice.

Their double coat protects from the heat as well as cold, huskies are fine

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Is it real they love super cold?

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Ours sunbathes in July in Florida. She has the option to be in ac, but chooses to lay on the black rug outside. So who knows.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Their double coats not only protect from extreme cold, but also decent heat

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

My husky would lay outside in -30 celsius weather refusing to come in the house they’re meant for the cold

So the fennec fox is suppose to eat sad because it lives in the Sahara?

8 years ago | Likes 22 Dislikes 2

Sand*. God damnit can’t even make a joke without this phone hijacking it.

8 years ago | Likes 25 Dislikes 2

Food chain. Ecosystems. Grade 3 shit. Huskies do get improper zinc. Need alot more fish compared to a lab.

8 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 5

It’s a joke man. Ease up with technicalities and laugh.

8 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

i eat sad.

8 years ago | Likes 30 Dislikes 0

I eat sad breakfast, depression for lunch, and anxiety for dinner.

You are what you eat

I also know my two lab mixes have the same response to getting to lay down in any water, its not a husky thing. It's a dog thing!

8 years ago | Likes 19 Dislikes 0

Grew up with two labs who hated water. Wouldn't walk on wet grass. My current Shiba on the other hand just ignores water and rain.

My sister has a puggle that loves to swim. Once someone remarked to us "she is shaped like she should sink like a rock."

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

My husky disagrees. He hates all forms of water other than drinking water. Rivers, lakes, pools. The lot of it

8 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 0

Same

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

All the husky people I know take extra special care of their dogs. One guy redid the living room into a cold play room for them.

Didn't know huskies were such Coldplay fans

8 years ago | Likes 50 Dislikes 0

They tolerate it. I like to think of them as K pop fans myself.
