Man... i post all my art here and its a mixed bag depending on what day you post on. How you title it. And what tags you use. Ive made it in most viral with pieces i didnt think were as good as others. Keep posting the community here is still great. Post it because you want to post it. Dont do it for the points.

The most important thing is to engage your audience. People are drawn to the comment section here usually because of assholes like me lol. Ive made lots of friends. Gotten tons of advice. And developed a thicker skin. Sometimes i join the negative comments and make fun of myself. Its art. No one is perfect. As for titles. Our personalities are different. I usually put the first thing i think of and send it no regrats

This is really cool @OP , this site is very fickle about people's creative projects. Sometimes it just takes 1 or 2 downvotes or negative comments to set off a bit of a pile-on.
Maybe someone thought it was AI or someone was just feeling bitter and pissy - who knows. What matters is that you are good at this, you should be proud, keep it up and don't get too discouraged... imgur is a weird platform (I say that with mostly love)

And even if those were some stickman sketches, some people are just straight up bullies who think only the top creme de la creme content (regardless of the niche or type of content, just the perceived quality) is worthy of gracing this site and will act hostile towards stuff that looks "amateurish"/fledgeling, for lack of a better word. Good stuff. I'm going to go out on a limb and guess that ElfQuest was an influence? If I may, though, I have a couple of little critiques. Her face looks a little too symmetrical, like you mirrored it. That's great to start with, but I personally think it's better to mirror it before you ink it so you don't end up with the exact same lines on both sides. When you're doing things like the dangling beads, it helps to draw a few different versions and mix them up along with ever so slightly (1/2)

If you want some real feedback I’d say the character looks stiff in posture and skin. The fabric and folds is really well done. I don’t think this was down voted for skill issues. You should really include a link to your art station. Did you do this in the original post? If you didn't it's possible that people used lens or a similar app and found it on art station and they have assumed you weren't the original artist. P.S maybe change your username on art station (if that's your real name) if you intend on sharing your content here - plenty of creeps on Imgur.
