Just say at the door you are*there for the pharmacy.
Edit grammar apologies for the title was little off this morning!

Also just FYI, taking a large dose of certain birth control meds works similarly to Plan b though is somewhat less effective and has higher side effects. But it works in a pinch. It’s called the Yuzpe method. Look it up.

I'm a 50 year old woman who's had tied tube's for 24 years, and I still bought some already and set up a subscription to keep getting them monthly until I can't anymore for anyone who needs them. Fuck them right where it counts. I hate these bastards.

This both makes me happy and scares me. I'm happy because it's needed. I'm scared because it's needed...

I have a membership, I'd love to buy it, and have it to mail it to people in texas etc who need it. Is it forbidden in those states yet?

2 years ago | Likes 20 Dislikes 3

There's a good way to check which states "allow" what here www.plancpills.org
And here's more info

For now. How many days until this too is banned?

2 years ago | Likes 59 Dislikes 9

Not sure but you can buy it now and have it on hand just check the shelf life.

2 years ago | Likes 44 Dislikes 1

I'd stock up. I imagine around year 3 of Trump's presidency, unopened plan B will be very valuable for re-sale.

2 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 6

Don't be that guy. If you can afford to buy it now and hold it, then you can afford to give it away when needed, or at worst resell at cost. Don't prey on the desperate.

2 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

My price would be wildly different depending on how they answer “who did you vote for”.

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

They aren’t going to answer you honestly at that point.

2 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Men can buy it too!

2 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Was wondering this. Thanks, Friend!

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I hope its true

2 years ago | Likes 38 Dislikes 4

Not sure how long it will stay that way.

2 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 1

I know it says no membership, but it should also say in order to get past the card checkers at the entrance, that you are going to customer service to get a membership

2 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 3

No, you tell them you are going to the pharmacy. They will let you in. The Costco pharmacy is open to all, not just members. The only difference is you don't get the member-discounted price without a member card.
(Source: I used to work for Costco. This is policy)

2 years ago | Likes 16 Dislikes 0

How do you get Costco check out to honor your gift card without membership card?

2 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

They scan the gift card. No membership required. Also, just show the gift card when entering

2 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Literally my Costco will demand a membership and stone wall you.

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

Ohhhhhh ok

2 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

While I hope this is true, I have certain degree of skepticism that anyone without a membership will be able to enter a Costco much less make it to the pharmacy counter to do this. I mean you can possibly hope the person at the door will be understanding (assuming they won’t deny you entry and use Costco’s policy as justification) but that would require some degree of explanation? I’m hoping I’m wrong but just skeptical based on Costco’s recent policies.

2 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 6

Enter through the exit. (It's allowed, that's where the membership sign-up is.) You can then walk the front of the store to the pharmacy.

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

The only Achilles heel to it now is they are rolling out scanners at the front due to abuse of cards being passed around. If you want to avoid that confrontation, head to the exit door and say you want a membership. Walk past the desk and to the food court area/bathrooms and then swing a right at self check

2 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 1

Anyone can use the Costco pharmacy, but you need a member card to get the member discounted prices. Just tell the gate guard you are going to the pharmacy. This has been policy since day 1 of the Costco Pharmacy.

2 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Happily enough you’re wrong. No membership is required for pharmacy access.

Good, I’m glad I am if it means a greater good is accomplished or possible.

2 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

You cannot keep someone from going to the pharmacy solely on the fact they are not a costco customer
As your doctor can send any prescriptions to costco not just members
All you need to do is say ' im going to puck up a perscription' and theyll waive you through
Same with the optometrist

2 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Cause what. Youre gonna buy something without a membership? How? You need to scan your card at the register or theyll not check you out

2 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Which recent policies? I’ve been a member for years and haven’t seen any changes p

2 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

They're probably talking about how Costco is finally cracking down on card-sharing and enforcing membership for the food court. Policy has not changed, just the method by which they enforce the policies. Now, when you enter a warehouse, you scan your card to verify a valid membership, at which time it displays the picture of the cardholder for the gate guard/greeter to verify that it's not a "borrowed" card.

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

None of the warehouses around me do that, my 5yo just waves it around

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

They started rolling the new scanners out earlier this year. They have over 600 warehouses in the US...it'll take some time, but they are coming

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Interesting their are other exemptions to their membership policies. In California it is illegal to require a membership to buy alcohol. You can just walz up, say I'm just buying alcohol and you can go get that cheep booze. No membership required.

Just to inform everyone, plan B has a shelf life of 4 years.

2 years ago | Likes 456 Dislikes 3

Drug shelf lives are generally bs. Is this one? I dunno.

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Does that work retroactively?

2 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

I have yet to find a time travelling pill.

2 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Can you increase its shelf life by putting it in the freezer or refrigerator?

2 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 1

No, levonorgestrel (the active ingredient) is sensitive to extreme temperatures. Plan B should be stored at room temperature.

2 years ago | Likes 21 Dislikes 0

TIL. Good to know. Thanks for reply.

2 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

Might just stock up and sell it real cheap online. You know... because.

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Follow storage guidelines if you have to keep it long term. Your hot showers make your bathroom cabinet humid and warm. You really want Plan B to be fully effective when you need it

2 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Closet, not cabinet.

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

That's good, since you won't be able to buy it legally for at least 4 years

2 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

That's what they told me about the clown in chief.

2 years ago | Likes 94 Dislikes 0

oh, he is way past ripe

2 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

That's probably the way the GOP prefers it at this point. Now he's a handy little incoherent puppet they can 25th amendment out due to dementia whenever it's convenient.

2 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

or just wait until it isnt one of his idiot supporters that takes the shot, but someone with conviction.

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

It honestly wouldn't change the core issue that is project 2025. Vance is a more useful figurehead for them anyways, he can more eloquently soothe the masses as their very rights are stripped from them. At least Trump enrages the left, Vance won't make that mistake at least not to the same degree.

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

perhaps in USA. the one in my top drawer has about 8.

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I used generic brands as the basis.

2 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Also, vacuum seal and refrigerate medications to make them last for years more.

2 years ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 11

NO please don’t refrigerate Plan B. Freezing Plan B may affect its effectiveness. The active ingredient, levonorgestrel, is sensitive to extreme temperatures, and freezing could potentially degrade the hormone, reducing its ability to prevent pregnancy effectively. Plan B should be stored at room temperature, between 68°F and 77°F (20°C and 25°C), to maintain its efficacy.

2 years ago | Likes 23 Dislikes 0

Room temperature or slightly uncomfortable at that point where you kick off the sheets, but then go grab them cause the draft was more than you expected, so you play the uncomfortable balancing game until you finally get up and turn the fan on.

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

That’s what Plan B needs to do all its life.

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

They also have a low threshold for success the more you weigh.

2 years ago | Likes 15 Dislikes 0
