You always double check print settings in Excel. Excel will find a way to fuck it up even without someone pranking you.

3 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I can read that number!

3 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

um

3 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Thats why you always manually set print area in excel. Few times print area didnt change after deleting data and would print 5 pages

3 years ago | Likes 263 Dislikes 2

Print selected usually easiest way to get something useful.

3 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 1

Alternative check the page count before confirming print

3 years ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 0

Microsoft recently changed the maximum size of the excel sheet. and a smart person tells it to only print what is selected.

3 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Check my math, but even generously giving 50 rows and 14 columns per page, it would still be tens of millions of pages, right?

3 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Why would you go out of your way to kill trees for a stupid prank? That's not funny, that's stupid.

3 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

why would you print a spreadsheet?

3 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Who the hell prints Excel without a print area defined?

3 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

#1 XFD is column 16384 (2^14), while 1048576 is 2^20

3 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

See who made the change & get in trouble, unless you do it from a co-workers desk when they don't lock their computer.

3 years ago | Likes 27 Dislikes 3

Printing nothing on 500 pages leaves you with 500 pages to put back into the printer. At worst wear and tear on the rollers.

3 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Yeah, let's kill 193846 acres of trees as a gag! Fun!

3 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 4

Paper will only go through a printer once after all

3 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Printing from excel is a dark art at the best of times.

3 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I work with spreadsheets that fill up that entire space.

3 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I wouldnt consider this evil till I realize, out of everyone I work with, I am the only one that knows how to stop the printer.

3 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Who prints directly from excel? Make a summary of your data and add context in a memo/powerpoint.if people want to know more they can ask.

3 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Just set the cell format to ;;;

3 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Eat a ream...nice

3 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Or, and hear me out, you could just not waste paper

3 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

Older lady in my office prints every email to read, every document/MP. She wont read off of her computer. Makes me irrationally angry.,

3 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

You guys still print?

3 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Fun fact: Excel treats 1900 as a leap year (it wasn't). This is known since the 80s but unfixed out of fear of breaking something somewhere.

3 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Pro Tip - its just going to be blank pieces of paper you can put back in the printer, assuming you are dumb and dont check page count.

3 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

This is how you get a giant excel file.

3 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Technically after a while it would be just white warm paper.

3 years ago | Likes 25 Dislikes 0

Ctrl-A, set cell borders to 'all borders', change line color to light gray.

3 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

staple them together and you have a really thin, terrible, blanket

3 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 0

Only works on idiots who dont look at the print preview, or dont do "print only" selected cells, or who dont adjust printing areas

3 years ago | Likes 564 Dislikes 23

Yeah fucking idiots who don't know how to print fuck em right? So stupid, literally super dumb man feckin idiots

3 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

Who prints excel itself? I always move it too word first for formatting

3 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Bro how fucking tinfoil are you that you think "only idiots print pages instead of specific cells only". I would 100% just print it.

3 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Well today I learned something new. Then again I've not used excel since business studies in high school.

3 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

What?

3 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Not to mention that who prints excels any way? They never print out with the layout that you want. Paperless office is the way to go.

3 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Litterally everyone in my office then. Cool

3 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Dude people don't use their brains at all for most tasks. Just autopilot hit print

3 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

So I could get 99% of the stores in my region. Got it

3 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

3 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Yeah I know, I managed to make my boss at a previous job do it.

3 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

So the overwhelming majority of people who have to interact with the printer.

3 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

3 years ago | Likes 342 Dislikes 3

3 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 17

3 years ago | Likes 18 Dislikes 0

When you print stuff every day you quickly stop checking things like that

3 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

So... most people?

3 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

You guys are printing spreadsheets??

3 years ago | Likes 51 Dislikes 0

3 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

At my work, yes, because they think Excel is just for making tables.

3 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

My boss regularly wants the documents in paper form. It drives me up the wall.

3 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

3 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Always view in print preview !

3 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0
