These aren’t separate. It is because you rage that you grief. This situation is horrible and no negative emotion towards it should be barred.

I don't think gender comes into it? It only takes being human to be filled with murderous rage towards the perpetrators, and immeasurable grief for what this poor girl has been forced to endure.

As a male, do you really think we can truly understand the same emotion as one who has been raped, brought it to term and than, while being treated for that event, relives the same horror 3 more times, all while being a minor? I'm not saying don't have emotion about it, but let's let the ones capable of the true extent of the emotion tell is what the verdict is.

I get what you're saying. And in a way I agree. But, I see no point in driving a wedge between men and women here? You're right, I will never understand the trauma she went through, but I understand she went through trauma. And that is enough to feel for her, and to wish to see the things that caused her this trauma removed from society by any means available. And yes, I do refer to them as things. Because being capable of that, takes away your right to be called human.

I feel like you might be missing the original point of this conversation. It's not to drive any wedge. We should be united as a species to be able to understand and empathize one another regardless of gender, race or orientation. The original comment was to point out that this chain was started by a user asking other "fellas" how we should feel about this situation. Our views are likely very similar in this case, but our lack of knowledge into each others assumptions is what drives this thread.
