Happens roughly once per hour, so if you let the cow in right after it dropped a pie (and hose it down first; they tend to soil themselves) you have a certain manure-free time window. Might still pee on your floor though.
They're somewhat opportunistic feeders. When they come across a fallen apple while grazing, or a small animal for that matter, they'll eat it as a dietary supplement. Sometimes even carrion. Pregnant cows in particular can have strange cravings.
Maybe cows who do this suffer from the bovine equivalent of pica. But this behavior is very much in line with that of wild ruminants such as deer, who also supplement their diet with small animals and carrion (especially in the winter when plant food is scarce, but also during pregnancy).

I feel like this would be easier without the cow in the kitchen.

If it were a goat, you could call it Gordon Ram'say?

Just like having a Maine Coon!

All the cow drool that made it in.
wecouldbehappywithoutcapitalism
Omg, they are like dogs but dinosaur size. Right down to the tasks that require dogs/cows is zero but they just want to see what you have there.
gandraw
dinosaur size is wildly unspecific though

Don't kid yourself Jimmy, if a cow ever got the chance he'd eat you and everyone you cared about

I LOVE internet

This would be a lot less problematic if that dude wasn't in that cow's kitchen

They should have a talk, and maybe have some snacks ready, she wasn't really able to concentrate on the job

They never show the giant pile of sloppy cow poop that inevitably happens.

Wonder if you can train a cow to do that outside, like a dog

I forgot that most animals just drop one wherever. I'm used to cats and humans being finicky about where and going through lengths to hide the smell

I mean Bessie is just trying to enjoy her strawberries but buddy is just constantly trying to do some sort of baking and pushing her out of the way.

I'm sorry to be bit opinionated but I'm not sure your assistant chef is helping you all that much.

I'm surprised she didn't eat the roses too. It would have been the healthiest part of the meal. That was a lot of sugar in one sitting
DaierMune
Honestly Im impressed with how his kitchen looks despite regularly having a cow rampage thru it.
ParaspriteHugger
And that's why you usually shoo the cow out of the kitchen before baking.

How am I gonna shoo away my invisible wife? Oh, right...

These kind of videos just give me anxiety.

And wouldn't you have concerns over literal cow pies in the kitchen?
ParaspriteHugger
Listen, if you bake pies for cows you don't have to be surprised when they come into your kitchen. /s
Thanshin
I should really try that, but come the moment of baking I always forget until it's too late and the cake is already in the oven.

If that was a big dog, he would train it to wait.

Are you saying we should be eating big dogs because they might be delicious too?

So, cows enjoy sweet fruit.
Good to know.

Not the sweet fruits of labour, though. Just sweet fruits.

Cows always eat their placenta but in my 30 plus years of being around them I have never known one to eat any other meat voluntarily.
FiftyShadesOfTiramisu
