Compact describes basically any car lower to the ground that isn't a tiny truck or suv w/o you checking the number of doors.

Sedan has the traditional 3 box body design, usually 4 doors. A saloon is usually a fancier sedan, like a BMW.

Last I heard Saloon is just the British/commonwealth term. Like "lorry" vs "truck" but maybe people would only import fancier cars...

That's also true. I think it's common now in US to associate bmw/jag/mercieBs with luxury & conflate the term, so caddies can be saloons too

Back of the rear tire is lifting, front of the front tire pushing down. When they connect they have crazy friction/grip.
