When I was a kid I had a trampoline and a dog. She didn't do a lot of jumping around on it, but whenever we got snow, she would make a bee line to it the first instant she got a chance and would jump on it to make the snow fly into the air and then try to catch the airborne snow in her mouth.

So many AI vids of animals on trampolines out there now

1 year ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 11

Unless you're listing evidence of AI you're the one posting made up content.

I didn't say this one was, I said there's a proliferation of it, so now you're making up content.

Still a waste of bandwidth, either way.

Tell that to all of the news orgs trying to warn morons

More bandwidth wasted.

If you have no time to walk your dog, buy him a trampoline. The only reason they need to be walked (aside from healthy exercise & mental stimulation) is that physical activity aids the gut peristalsis and motility and helps prevent constipation. Also works for humans btw. Both walks and trampolines. A lot of people would have fewer IBS-type digestive issues if they bounced around every once in a while.

Ha so there is a possibility that I could bounce that poo in the neighbors yard?πŸ˜‚

Gotta shake it loose!

Um I think it would be better if an alternative to these home trampolines was offered. ER folks discourage these a lot.

I'm guessing because of the accident risk? Especially with small indoor trampolines. Outdoors should be reasonably safe with a net. For indoor exercise, a stationary bicycle might be better (with a modern bike seat that doesn't put pressure on the perineal nerves)

Gonna go jump next time my tummy feels poopy ty

Or jog on the spot. I sometimes get up and do that for a bit while watching TV. Or when I'm doing things like brushing my teeth. You can combine a lot of daily chores with some light cardio.

Is this safe for the dog's joints long term?

1 year ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Not a doctor nor vet, but I imagine a trampoline would be relatively low impact on joints, due to the way it absorbs energy.
