Republicans sure are overly interested in if people have indoor plumbing or outdoor plumbing, while trampling on human rights. While I'm against surgeries for minors, I do support puberty blockers, to give them the time to make a more informed decision about their body. But, on the other hand, how many minors get other kinds plastic surgeries? The bottom line is this, trans rights are human rights.

GA surgeries on minors are vanishingly rare and only happen after years of ensuring that it’s absolutely necessary from whole teams of physicians and therapists.

More like Republicans hate all women, whether they're cis or trans. They just know that if they outright say "women aren't people" that it would finally be too much evidence for the cognitively dissonant Republican women to ignore. Instead, they go after trans women directly while they can and hide behind religious fundamentalism and scare tactics to indirectly attack cis women. They go for their healthcare, bodily autonomy, general safety, and independence.
