UK Green party isn't massively better. Both tend to be filled with naive, uninformed people more focused on idealistic sloganeering than offering practical solutions. And both tend to just draw away voters from a bigger left leaning party that, while not perfect, would at least have the power to do some good things.

The problem is Labor proposes what can be done and afforded. The Greens demand only the pie in the sky goals and won't accept anything else. They're also terrible at economics, most of their proposals when you look at how they say they would be funded just don't work. And often their plans to grow the economy would actually shrink it. Now days it's a party of people who are environmental elitists who think they are better than others just because they drive an electric car. Party is full of Ego.

Hasn't she been going at it longer than Putin has been in power, though? I'm not saying she's not a spoiler - she always gets many times the number of votes in the margin between D's and R's - but is she really working for Putin if she's been at it longer than he's been in a position to run things?

Not really. Jill Stein ran her first political campaign in 2002 at the state level, and entered federal politics with her Presidential campaigns in 2012 and 2016. Vladimir Putin has been in charge of Russia in one form or another since late 1999.
