#10 is actually the Calgary tower in Alberta, Canada. That's the city I live in currently.
Vazaha
We have a Brutalist railway station, rather randomly, here in Stafford. It doesn't connect in any way to its surroundings, and replaces a Victorian meh-shed. I love it, and am immensely proud that we have a Brutalist structure as part of our townscape.

Please never stop posting these. I find them soothing and somehow an odd validation of the discomfort of living in a dystopian society.

No, I just pulled that of my skyline
ChristopherHallett
You could bolt TWO Skyline GTR engines together and they wouldn't spool up a turbo with a compressor housing that large.
TooSoonOldTooLateSmart
Literally, "Large-scale apparatus fitters." You can see the turbine blades in the center ring. It looks like a giant air raid siren.
ChristopherHallett
Either that or the axial fan housing of a VERY large ventilation system, perhaps for a subway system or a skyscraper building?
jac1
It looks like there compressor side of a very large turbocharger, probably for a huge diesel ship engine.
nojustsayitdont
I was guessing maybe a wind tunnel fan.

#10 looks more like the Calgary tower?
Charlieisanallycat
#10 https://reddit.com/r/Calgary/s/5oZ0JDRkTn it’s just gotten a paint job since then. Cool!
Neednoggle
I'm nearly certain #10 is the Calgary Tower.
Travelcedric
Definitely the Calgary Tower, aka the "Prairie Penis"
CakeShapedPie
Yep. Originally called the Husky Tower, located in Calgary, Canada

Oi why don’t you put these under the corresponding images?
pennarsson
You are right! I’m a bit stupid. Next time it will be done like that. Thanx for the suggestion.
FetaForMoses
That would be awesome! I follow you since the first few eclectic dumps and and I enjoy them very much.

Oh thank you! This means a lot.

Sorry for violating the Imgur standards. When you look at my profile you will see that I’m definitely not here for collecting fake internet points.
