Today I was finally able to prove the truth to everyone
A judge just ruled that not only everything that customer said about me were lies, but that she did it out of obsession with me
that she made me lose my job as a bartender because she couldn't accept that I rejected her
She went "If I can't have you, nobody will", and tbh it's extremely scary to see how many were totally okay with that.
That's the ruling from the judge + PPO
Now that whole thing is forever behind me.
I owe a lot to you Imgur, you guys are the ones who pushed me to go to court.
So thank you ^^ sincerely.
All proofs (phone records and testimonies)are public on the files of the Superior Court of Quebec (#500-17-132674-253). If any of y'all want the details of the case (and can speak French).

From OP's original description, she clearly has borderline personality disorder, and Canada has antiquated laws when it comes to women and responsibility. The Canadian Criminal Code, for example, has a special homicide provision to give light sentences to women who kill their infants. It's deeply rooted in Victorian misogyny (women have no agency! they're naturally crazy!) but it's destructive to *everybody*.

This is the thing to understand about false accusations. Just like rape it's not something that's spread out evenly in the population, it's clustered around the people that keep doing it to multiple people. My cousin is like that She's accused many many people of various SA stuff that in many cases, probably all of them, couldn't have happened. I work in a nursing home. The accusatory people accuse everyone, all the time. The normal people don't accuse anyone unless something actually happens.

Similar happened to me in the states. Only I wasn't so lucky and got 1 year probation and a criminal record just off her word against mine with no evidence. I was looking at 13+ years in the pen for a first time offense, never been arrested in my life prior. It ruined my life.

We prefer the term francophone, because we're not from France at all and there's a big cultural difference between us and them. They (the French) usually need subtitles when they watch movies from Quebec. The ties between Québec and France got cut around 1760, that's a long time ago. I hope that answers your question.
