The older brother in me needs to see how far it will go when launched from the Evel Kinevel ramp.

Representation matters. (If you don't believe that... look at the shit fit white cishet RWNJs when they see nonwhites in ad campaigns.)

Are you for or against this, OP?

Me personally, I don't see this doll selling well, but I still think there are a lot of people out there who will appreciate being represented. Also this concept is rather old, I do not recall the name but barbie had a wheelchair bound friend in the 90s

The purpose is to make sure little girls see themselves in a Barbie... every little girl... none excluded... not wheelchair girls, deaf girls (they could hear you before); black girls, Latina girls, Asian Girls, etc...

Sometimes what makes money also is the right thing.

I guess that depends on your POV. The smile on the face of my daughter tells me I'm fine with it.

Already exists. It was called Earring Magic Ken.

Does the girl LBJTQ+ doll come with a pair of scissors?

1 year ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Didn't that doll become the best selling Ken doll in history despite only being on shelves for a short time before being pulled?

That's the one, yes!
