His podcast is pretty good. An hour or so chatting with guests about things that bring them joy.

I haven't listened to his podcast, but like... why would he? He did it for decades, and is the GOAT. Pretty much universally respected as the master of the craft and one of the most trustworthy people in the media. Everything else gets compared to what he did... And there's at least half a dozen moderately successful shows that spawned off from his formet staffers imitating the format. There'd be no way to improve on that by getting back to it, so you could only lose.

I don't think it's as much about lower effort. Usually these smaller operations mean more work for the team, but less studio oversight would allow him more freedom in his work.

I hoped she’d get to do interviews though too, maybe one game show segment per episode. They made such a big deal about her being a late night host but she’s not hosting. I mean if it’s doing great good for her hope it does, just bummed was hoping for more.

I've watched the clips on Youtube, which is a bit frustrating because they basically upload the whole episode, but split across like 6 clips, so it's hard to watch in sequence and such. I do like Taylor Tomlinson, and the show is light, distracting fun.
