Nope. We had 'em. We played a version called "killer Jarts". Same game, but u stand INSIDE the circle. Points for not flinching.
It's a wonder I made it to adulthood.
I'm a millennial. As younger punks, we chased each other with roman candles. That shit burns, but you don't end up dead. ?
Lol...yea, had my share of Roman candle wars. Gotta love the escapades of fearless youth and boundless energy.
It's like we wanted to die. Thank God we didn't have giant darts. I've always been more the cranky, silent type... Not so energetic.
Ajierene
Every one played that game, that's why they are banned now
Rightfully so.
EDoPur
Our version was stand just outside circle w/o flinching while your opponent aimed at it.
We didn't realize how just dangerous they were until we got the bRiGhT idea to try catching them! We ended up with few cuts and bruises.
Aaah...killer jarts. Definitely a contributing factor to why they got banned!
Jopler420

I do, but I don't see kids doing that anymore.

Hoses can harbor unhealthy bacteria. Drinking water pipes are made differently. Likely won’t kill you to drink from a hose, but unhealthy.
how else do you build up those immunities tho? he asks sarcastically, but also not sarcastically
northof60
Where else will you get that warm rubber taste.
Arudinne
I've seen water hoses with with Prop 69 warnings these days.
SeanSpicey
Nice
Correction: Prop 65.
is that like beaver fever? bacteria in the water that makes you poop so you have to boil it first? we get that for about a month a year
if the water doesn't go through a treatment plant first

I was there and I survived!
fugue042
Nope. We had 'em. We played a version called "killer Jarts". Same game, but u stand INSIDE the circle. Points for not flinching.
fugue042
It's a wonder I made it to adulthood.
VaultGirl69
I'm a millennial. As younger punks, we chased each other with roman candles. That shit burns, but you don't end up dead. ?
fugue042
Lol...yea, had my share of Roman candle wars. Gotta love the escapades of fearless youth and boundless energy.
VaultGirl69
It's like we wanted to die. Thank God we didn't have giant darts. I've always been more the cranky, silent type... Not so energetic.
Ajierene
Every one played that game, that's why they are banned now
fugue042
Rightfully so.
EDoPur
Our version was stand just outside circle w/o flinching while your opponent aimed at it.
EDoPur
We didn't realize how just dangerous they were until we got the bRiGhT idea to try catching them! We ended up with few cuts and bruises.
fugue042
Aaah...killer jarts. Definitely a contributing factor to why they got banned!
Jopler420
people don't still drink from the hose? im confused
Exemus
It's a good way to get bacteria/worms
Jopler420
built up immunities you mean?
stoots24
Kids don't play outside any more...
MadLucy
Thats where I get my cold water from. No issues.... yet
nukemall
I do, but I don't see kids doing that anymore.
digginlife
Hoses can harbor unhealthy bacteria. Drinking water pipes are made differently. Likely won’t kill you to drink from a hose, but unhealthy.
Jopler420
how else do you build up those immunities tho? he asks sarcastically, but also not sarcastically
northof60
Where else will you get that warm rubber taste.
Arudinne
I've seen water hoses with with Prop 69 warnings these days.
SeanSpicey
Nice
Arudinne
Correction: Prop 65.
Jopler420
is that like beaver fever? bacteria in the water that makes you poop so you have to boil it first? we get that for about a month a year
Jopler420
if the water doesn't go through a treatment plant first
iPlayTooMuchVideogame
Not nice

BigFatBobbie
HAHAHAHAHA What the hell is even this?!? Is that Michael Richards?
DukeDarkwood
It is! Character's name is Stanley Spadowski, and the movie is UHF, a hilarious ride starring 'Weird' Al Yankovic.
BigFatBobbie
Oh yaaaa! I love that movie. I gotta rewatch it. I have forgotten too much. My fave part was the Rambo scene.
