2 totaled cars in 2 weeks.

As you can see I've had a not so fun 2 weeks. Honestly I shouldn't complain cause I'm physically fine but it just makes me so pissed I've been in 2 accidents in 2 weeks. The Ford and Honda are mine.

Here's the first story: I was driving back to work from lunch after letting my dog out and a car was rear ended into oncoming traffic. Guess who was the oncoming traffic. If you guessed Jesus, you are wrong because he certainly didn't take the wheel. It was me. I had no where to go so, BAM! I saw it coming and all I could do was scream and clench my butthole. Car A was distracted by a plow and missed car B slowing down and rear ended car B into oncoming traffic which was car C (me). Car A did attempt to miss car B but this failed and in correcting he also hit a pole.( Driver of Car A was not a complete dick as he lent me his jacket cause it was so cold and my cat had thrown up on mine that morning).
Honestly this was my first crash and I held it together fine. I was worried about driver B not responding( it was probably just shock but he got hit twice and I was concerned, he was up and about in a bit ; I even gave his friend directions to where we were cause he didn't know) so I was actually the one to call 911. Held it together and tight as a ship. My husband was snowboarding 2 hours away and his coworker was nice enough to give me a ride. You are the nicest Yankee fan I know, Mendez, but I still hate your team. I was in fairly good mood about this; a little bummed about my car but my mother had left a gallon of milk in it when she borrowed it and I was having a hell of a time getting the smell out so at least I didn't have to clean it anymore. This crash hurt my back a bit and as I work with children it meant 2 weeks of not changing diapers so I had that going for me. My husband and I decided we didn't need a second new car and that we would save up to get one.

Flash forward to last Friday, I was on my way to PT for the first incident and sitting at a stop light right at the turnoff to the office. I'm jamming out to some Xmas tunes because they make me feel warm and fuzzy. Then I see a tiny movement in my mirror before being rear ended into the car in front of me. What happened was car A was leaving a gas station and side swiped car B which made him swerve into car C( me) which pushed me into car D. I have a confession to make about this one: I sobbed like a little child. An onlooker was so concerned by my panic attack she wouldn't let me stand up out of my car.(shout out to that sweet Irish lady who calmed me down and was so wonderful to be concerned enough about me to call 911 even though it wasn't necessary). And car number 2 bites the dust. Everyone was again ok, but this time I was a little bit pissed off. Neither of these were my fault but now we are out 2 car and I have to spend my holiday break dealing with one of everyone's most hated things: going to car dealerships. I've been alone all weekend after this and now I have to drive to work tomorrow with my rental. I'm scared. It took me till I was 21 to get my license because I had such bad anxiety about driving. The thing that helped me get through it was what my driving instructor told me. She said," you have to trust other drivers on the road are doing their best and no one is trying to get into accidents." I just don't trust that anymore. Sorry for the complaining when everyone is safe. I just wanted to share my fear.
