I have been in heavy traffic that is moving at speed. A jam is when traffic stops or is moving very slowly though, so no I have never been in a traffic jam moving at the speed limit, nor has anyone else.
Also, I am fully aware of lane splitting and that it's legal in most places. I also think it's a good thing. My comment is only that it's not really saving people time for the motorcyclists to lane split.
