I'm your Huckleberry. In fact, that's just my game. Say when.

It's funny when you think about it. How many of us will die, and no one will ever remember our name. People who aren't even in the west know the name "Doc Holiday". They may not have seen the movie or know the specifics of his life...but they KNOW the name. They heard it somewhere at some point.

Same for me except replace insult with compliment

Anytime I receive a compliment

Did he actually say that in the movie ?

1 year ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

No.

1 year ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Not that I can recall. The writing was above this.

“I’ll be your huckle bearer” is a savage line.

I whispered, bending down my head,
“Your lips are like a cherry;”
She took my meaning – laughed and
said,
“Well, I’m your huckleberry.”

Oh is _that_ what he says? Makes way more sense to me now, ffs. Is always seen or quoted as “huckleberry “, which confused me to no end.

Not gonna lie: read it online and fell down a rabbit hole. Learned a lot about some archaic phrases!

He does say "Huckleberry" , Val Kilmer confirmed if

It’s so weird to me that this is a thing, 30 years later.

Kevin Jarre, the writer for this movie, did one heluva job, especially with the characters.

Truly he was our huckleberry

Is this actually a line from Tombstone though? Seems more like a Facebook meme where the text and image aren’t actually related.

1 year ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 6

Nope! Real line. Every one of Val Kilmers lines is pretty much gold.

I'm pretty sure he actually said that. I believe it was during a card game.

I thought this was around the "show off your quick gun-slinging fancywork" scene at the bar. I should go rewatch it to find out.

It's been a while for me too. Gonna check it out again

Why Johnny Ringo, you look like somebody just walked over your grave

1 year ago | Likes 73 Dislikes 0

Which is funny because, where Ringo is standing when he says that, is where he ends up dying.
