Hey there fellow book lovers it’s me, Community Manager @Tiny - did I catch you at a bad time? Well since I have you here anyway, let me tell you about our Community Book Club.
Last month we explored the realm of Science Fiction and I was overwhelmed by the number of spectacular suggestions you all gave me; but that list’ll have to wait till later.
This month I’m asking everyone for their favorite ROMANCE story. Whether you’re a sucker for a love triangle, enjoy the enemies to lovers plot, or want something sweeter, this genre has more than meets the eye. From lighthearted romantic comedies to tear jerking whirlwind romances, you can’t quite stop the warmhearted feelings these stories bring.
Whether it takes place in offices or castles, while sailing on the high seas or strolling through a city park, these tales prove to us love can be found anywhere, anytime, in any world.
These tales don’t need to be bound by books: graphic novels, comics, manga, short stories, and series are all eligible entries.
As promised, here is the official Community Book Club, 1st Edition Science Fiction list as voted on by the community. First up are our top titles 1-25; we had over 1,000 unique titles submitted last month.
A little late to the party? Don’t be discouraged - remember, this is a community driven list; if someone has already put down your pick upvote it so it makes the list! Inspire others to pick up a good read by showing support for your favorites.
And here are the top titles 26-50. This was a solid list from our community, I can’t wait to see what you all recommend next.

Personally I feel like Sense and Sensibility was the better book from her catalog. And the book i would recommend.

I scrolled too far and didn't see her so anything by Abby Jimenez. Best, most wholesome, tear jerking, emotionally investing books I've read.

It is a much better book than people realize.
There is a story in scifi circles about samuel r delaney enacting the sword fight between roberts and the spaniard in the pro suite leaping from chair to chair.

Best first date I've been on was to Borders (RIP). We spent almost three hours perusing the shelves and exchanging favorites. Good times.

One problem with romance books is that not many of them actually portray what healthy relationships look like. I'm sure there are many more available now, but most of the "classics" are full of red flags.

Healthy relationships arent interesting, no one writes about them for the same reaaon no one writes about international conflicts settled by transparent diplomacy.

Its a very slow burn romance, but been enjoying the 'Assistant to the Villain' series by Hannah Nicole Maehrer. Regularly swaps between the 2 protagonists perspectives as the Villain and his assistant slowly find themselves falling for one another, but try to remain professional in spite of it.
Has its share of funny moments, and mixes it all into a fantasy world. 2 books out at the moment, with the 3rd due later this year.

The whole series is good. And if one is not in to throbby-cocky moments, they can skip to the end of the chapter. There are 30+ well-written books in the universe, with good character development, and Ward has a fabulous grasp of her craft.

I love Pride and Prejudice as much as the next person but I have a major soft spot for Northanger Abby. I love Jane Austen's humor in that one - it's delightfully meta.

Manacled by San Li it's a beautiful fanfic about Hermione and Draco and her writing is epic and moving, i couldn't put this down

Not into "romance" books really but someone gave me, "Me Before You" when I had nothing else to read and I enjoyed it so much I ended up reading the rest of the series and a couple other Jojo Moyes books, and watched the Netflix movie which was exactly as I expected (later I realized it was because my version of the book had a movie still for the cover :D): https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Me_Before_You

Dude, I started reading those because of the smut, but ended up being a lot more interested in the story by the end, really really enjoyed them!

I was going to post this myself, but was worried about
how it might translate into the 21st century values. So I put up The Tollgate by Georgette Heyer, because it's so gentle. I don't think you could go wrong with any of her books, though. And to be honest, these old shades is the best,
