I make the bed. Then I sleep on top of the comforter with my specific sleeping blankets. The bed generally looks always made with a couple blankets thrown on top.
I just use those elastic box sheets. They don't move unless they have the wrong size so it's just a matter of putting it on the day you do and then take it off 3 years later. .or a week. .whatever your changing schedule is
Rule of thumb for me is that if I slide into the sheets and I get cuts or scratches on my body, then it's probably almost time to change them. I check for nail clippings first though.
To be fair most people in basic training think the same way and sleep on top of the sheets using only the shitty blanket they give you cause it's easier to fold and then sure up any bed wrinkles instead of remaking the bed every day.

My bed is always a mess, but my kitchen is spotless.

That’s the level of detail my bed had in the army. I made it once and then slept on top of it for months.

It was too cold to survive under the stupid sheet + horse blanket anyways. The sleeping bag was actually good.

I have never made my bed, I keep up on sheet changes, but tucking covers in just toess them up again is a waste if energy and time

I tuck because I hate how the creases feel if I dont.
toolzgalore2
I sleep with blankets that don't male creases that you can feel
snarkybitch
They dont get loose? What brand!
toolzgalore2
Like they are just soft fabric, they don't crease and make hard edges, or maybe I am misunderstanding the sensory sensitivity
snarkybitch
Not a hard crease. Just a wrinkle or bunched up. We'll have our weird sensory things lol
