Batman got a star, but what about Robin?

God, medium rare burgers... even back then it was the scurge of Gotham.

Yeah I'll take a steak like that of course, but not ground meat. I've read The Jungle, and I've also had servsafe certification.
I don't fuck with food-borne nastiness.

Aw man, the way that dude's face fell when his girlfriend said Robin was too much.

Sad. You scrimp and save almost $3,000 for a brand-new Sunbeam Alpine convertible to impress your girl and Batman & his dreamy sidekick has to pull up beside you in a turbine-powered convertible Batmobile.

"Isn't Robin too much" Oof. Reminds me of the story of how the studio thought he was too much. https://www.syfy.com/syfy-wire/burt-ward-claims-network-prescribed-pills-to-reduce-his-penis

Baby on board, something something Burt Ward...

Awesome. Loved the cameos on that show.
whoatherebigfella
It was one of my favorite parts too. I’d have to imagine that it was fun for the cameo guest also.
iamamentat
Lol, Colonol Klink.

Apparently Lurch was one too

I was too young to realize Sammy Davis Jr. showed up in this show while watching it as a child.

Colonel Klink? Isn't that wrong on levels they still have to invent yet?

I grew up watching Hogan’s Heroes in syndication. It’s weird how normal it was for me to think of Nazis as bumbling wacky idiots.
Fentex
Werner Klemperer and John Banner (Sergeant Schultz) among others were jewish and enjoyed presenting Nazi's as clots. Quite a few people who were on that show were veterans of various parts of WW2 (i.e Robert Clary aka Corporal Louis LeBeau was a survivor of Buchenwald).

I had the pleasure of selling the original Batmobile. www.muffybennett.com/noteworthy-vehicles-sold.html

Well done!!
Poopsiedaisy1
I got to drive a replica in NM. It belonged to my GFs uncle and I dressed as batman for a kids party and then all the kids said they wanted to watch me drive off. He glared at me warningly and handed me the keys.
I am devastated that I don't have a picture to prove it.
The batmobile could use disk brakes.

Billionare, probably cost a few million itself. Thats got to be walking around money to spend on something you'll never drive.

And you can’t drive it unless you put a dealer plate on it. All the serial numbers on the car are “EX” - for “experimental.”

Sold for $4.6m in the previous auction. That was before it came up in this one.
