Seems pretty fashy to me...

Those guys are in plain clothes! No badges! No warrant! I dunno but I think I would fight tooth and nail to avoid being hauled off by them!

9 months ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

ICE agents should be hanging from the street lamps.

That day will come, so keep getting their faces so we can track them all down.

9 months ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

I think it’s quite telling that the stereotypical male ICE agent appears to be a fat overweight bearded redneck cop wannabe

9 months ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Pete is gonna have a word with them!

9 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

When are people claiming to be ICE, come and arrest other people claiming to be ICE? Come on americans, this is your country you are letting this happen in.

9 months ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

When you talk about "a well regulated militia..." you should be thinking of people taking arms against this Trump gestapo

9 months ago | Likes 19 Dislikes 1

Well, the idea of a well-regulated militia was supposed to mean that we didn't have to maintain a standing military if we could call one up at need. Article 1 enabled congress to raise an army at need, 2a was supposed to help ensure that there wouldn't be some states unable to contribute.

why are these fuckers even allowed into the building?

9 months ago | Likes 54 Dislikes 1

Looks like it's a courthouse. The brown shirts don't need a warrant in public or gov buildings actually they can write their own in these instinces. Within 100 miles of the coast/border. On private property they need a Warrant, or owners permission. State and local gov, needs to pass laws saying they are not allowed in our buildings then enforce it. Like in Chicago they refused to let Christy gnome to use the bathroom in gov building. Put pressure on your local and state gov to fight back.

9 months ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 0

They lie about having warrants for people to security most likely and the guard just thinks “that’s above my pay”

9 months ago | Likes 19 Dislikes 0

Even the Nazi’s wore brown shirts.

9 months ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Those "agents" look like they peeled themselves up off the couch in the early afternoon still wearing the clothes they passed out drunk in the night before and decided to go harass some brown people.

9 months ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Pedo stans is the part I'm stealing.

9 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

So just to be clear ICE does NOT need a warrant to arrested in public spaces (or when let into a private one. They would only need a warrant if it was a private residence and they never opened the door or were visible. Plain sight laws allow to by pass warrants

9 months ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Sickening.

9 months ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 2

So what do we do if this happens? If we fight back, they'll attack us. If we don't, we watch someone get kidnapped. What do we do?

9 months ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

This is why the Second Amendment was written. No ID. No warrant. Those guys aren't law enforcement.

9 months ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

It's also why they hang around courthouses since nobody is allowed in with a gun.

9 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

No badges or identification visible…

9 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

If I see this happening, what am I supposed to do? These “ICE” agents don’t appear uniformed or presenting any ID. Should I call the police? I mean, props to this guy for giving ZERO reason to be accused of “resisting arrest”, but we just saw him basically be kidnapped by who we think are ICE agents.

So what should we do if we see this happening? Try to prevent them from leaving? Call the police? Make a big disturbance to attract others?

Seriously asking, because I want to know what to do.

When in doubt I consult a rights group so I know what I can defend legally and when I'm stepping over a line. I assume for most of you this is the ACLU but I'd imagine there are others. Hell, I assume they have guidance published already.
I also assume the answer is "Sweet fuck all".

Completely unrelated but it's perfectly legal to carry a bar of soap and a sock on your person whenever you want.

9 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Holy crap, I have 2 socks on me almost all the time!

9 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Go outside and disable their vehicle.

9 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Should have 100% fucking called Security, come up ARMED to detain two kidnappers, don't be gentle.

9 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Am seeing less masks on ICE and not sure thats a good sign or a bad one.

9 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Quite literally the Gestapo

9 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Wish the lawyer would have stopped circling and repeating the same line, 13x apparently, and just took his client by the hand and pulled him away from them. He let them arrest his client with no warrant.

9 months ago | Likes 16 Dislikes 2

Well, the lawyer is establishing that they had no grounds to arrest him. So when it goes to court its a slam dunk of infringement of due process. If the lawyer were to try anything physical then he risked getting injured or arrested himself. Just because they aren't following the rules doesn't mean they can't do it. This way him and his client can sue for wrongful arrest and force the issue in court. Anything else would help no one.

9 months ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

I never said to lay hands on the agents, though I was certainly thinking it with every fiber of my being. I was suggesting he attempt to remove his client from the situation until they provide the evidence of his arrest. If they refuse to play by the rules we all do, then we as a people have a duty to refute them in every way possible. Verbally, Intellectually and... if necessary, Physically.

9 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Will there be due process though?

9 months ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I worry about when this happens to one of my clients. I’m certain I’ll not allow it and wind up in a physical fight for my life. Not looking forward to it.

9 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

these guys would never have a warrant. they're just bounty hunters looking for a fast $1000 from the actual ICE agency.

9 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

ID all 4 of those fucksticks

9 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I would absolutely lose it.

9 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Is no one paying attention? Due process doesn't exist in America anymore. If Ice approaches, you're going to a torture prison, run or fight.

9 months ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

9 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Looks like a kidnapping.

9 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Time to start leaving icicles flat on the ground, fuck these monsters!

9 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

In what kind of shithole country can plainclothes goons cuff you and drag you away right in front of a lawyer without identifying themselves, without saying a word, without reading you your rights??? …ah yeas, America

9 months ago | Likes 477 Dislikes 4

People here don't fucking get that if they can take illegal immigrants without due process, they can take citizens without due process.

9 months ago | Likes 39 Dislikes 0

Can't read rights when they've been stripped away (and they can't read anyway)

9 months ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Something something freedom?

9 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Another group of men should show up and claim to be ice also, and say “this guy is ours, let go, we’ll take him from here”. Then leave with him. Put him in the back of an SUV and drive off to a bar, have a beer and laugh and laugh.

9 months ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 0

Reading their what? Far as they are concerned, the people they are kidnapping have no rights.

9 months ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

So many died to protect liberty yet this goon and his goons come in here and dismantle our institutions while congress looks on....NO ONE IS ABOVE THE LAW SAVE FOR THE PRESIDENT.

9 months ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

People need to start exercising their second amendment rights against these human traffickers.

9 months ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Unfortunately, if you aren't a citizen, you aren't entitled to anything other than "life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness". Nothing about due process in the Constitution for non-citizens. HOWEVER, there's no way to be sure if they're a citizen or not without seeing identification, and nobody is required to identify unless they've done something illegal. After all, we aren't Nazi Germany. Although, many would argue we are damn well close to that with how all this is going...

9 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 2

Actually, the verbiage states no person shall be deprived of life liberty or the pursuit of happiness without due process of the law. It explicity says person and not citizen. Elsewhere in the document it uses the word citizen, so its not simply an implivation that the word person = citizen.

9 months ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

They like alter the words to say what the want. You should check the trump Bible.

9 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I apologize I misspoke. I was referring to the Declaration of Independence - specifically the preamble - when I was referencing the inalienable rights the USA affords all within its borders regardless of citizenship. The constitution, as you said, reiterates that it affords it to all Persons. I was taught that the US constitution only applies to US Citizens when growing up, so I've always interpreted it to only apply to citizens. I think that's the debate people have these days though.

9 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

And at the same time i don't get how that same america hasn't shot any of those goons on the spot

9 months ago | Likes 69 Dislikes 1

Because gun violence in America doesn’t happen as often as the media would have you believe.

9 months ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 3

You mean daily? Because the rest of the world gets to see your brand new every day shooting. Shootings that if they happened here, ONCE, would be the only news story for months.
Have you just convinced yourself that 125 violent gun deaths PER DAY isn't that often?
A huge amount of us live in places where the TOTAL (gun, knife, beef Wellington, etc) violent deaths is under 1 per day.

9 months ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

It must be very convenient for you to have the ones tallying the gun deaths also be the “only ones with guns”. Wouldn’t want to start a panic, would we?

9 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 2

Yes, because aside from the fact the rest of the world has nowhere near the issue America does with police shootings. In fact I can think of a half dozen major western countries where police aren't armed.
The rest of the world doesn't panic over guns because we don't have dicks like you saying 125 deaths a day is nothing, and convinced that our .5 per day is some weird conspiracy because our lack of guns means we should have more death and misery than you so on the daily?

9 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Also, the ones "with the guns" aren't the ones that tally that. Violent death records is a public health and statistics thing... We don't let the police run our public health, and how health workers don't need to be armed. Although my father does work with the bureau of statistics, and he owns guns (because they aren't actually illegal, even Australia still has more registered guns than people)... Is that what you mean "the ones with the guns keeping the records"?

9 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Gun nuts, MAGAs, cops, ICE, etc.

"They're the same picture" meme

9 months ago | Likes 27 Dislikes 1

Such a dream, America... the sweet American dream. s/ +1

9 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

I also get that, but there's also a lot of non-those with guns, but still only one luigi

9 months ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 0

They are trying to provoke us to mass violence so they can legally justify putting the military into blue cities. In which case a lot of things will suddenly become a lot harder.

9 months ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 2

The what now? they are already putting the military on the streets, they needed no justification

9 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

No they are not. They are seeing how much the people will tolerate. Stop pushing this BS. If they want to invade a city, they don't need an excuse, just like Portland, just like Chicago, and just like DC.

9 months ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 2

I can't say I would've prevented someone from stabbing these kidnappers in the spine with a pocket knife if I witnessed this.
