I started a new job 4 years ago and toward the end of the 3rd week a female work colleague complimented my shirt, 3 women got out of their chairs, left their desks to come and join in admiring it. I once spent an absurd amount on a nice motorcycle jacket. I was leaving a locker room when someone entering said, "oh, nice jacket." My brain shorted out not knowing how to process compliments. "Yeah, it is." Pretty sure I had to sit down and contemplate my life before riding home.
