This is strongest what European countries can do. Our soil is sadly full of american soldiers and their leadership is in the same boat with Israel. Our weapons and defensive systems are linked to US, so they could halt our systemd. US is still the superpower with greates capabilities, so going agaist it's will is impossible currently

Getting in bed with cheeto boy is the kiss of death, just ask Mike or Rudi. And it's " tut tuting" not just tuting, because that would be weird like a nervous tic.

I eagerly await a half hearted condemnation from Morocco or Rwanda with a nudge nudge wink wink know what i mean because they sure love Israeli surveillance tech and weapons

tired of my country sending strongly worded letters without doing anything.

Now now. They might send a strongly-worded letter.

Yeh, that "E1"-thing. Saw something about it on German news yesterday, and the reporter was saying Israel is trying to "establish facts", as in, just start building and then it's "too late to do anything about it", like when the building company contracts have been signed, which was his specific example, and I was like "WTF, building contracts now signal it's too late to stop or reverse ILLEGAL settlements that go against international law?". All "settlement" is reversible. GTFO

Germany burns, our economy crashes, the AFD (Nazis) gain momentum and hour president (Kanzler Merz) refuses to shorten his holiday. Fat chance he will look seriously into Israel.

Please don't confuse Operation Canary Mission with a web site of that name. Having a web site seems a cover for a wide-spread possible mil-intel op in advance of Israeli Gaza war to silence US objection torture, theft of land, genocide, etc. 2 years ago news stories made this clear-all since replaced by the current cover https://www.democracynow.org/2023/12/27/canary_mission https://www.theguardian.com/media/2024/jan/30/pr">_mission">https://www.democracynow.org/2023/12/27/canary_mission https://www.theguardian.com/media/2024/jan/30/pro-israel-group-shirion-collective-australian-politicians-leaked-texts

Would you rather they didn't say anything, or support it? All or nothing thinking results in a whole lot of nothing

1 week ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 4

In terms of outcome, what's the difference? If you stand by and watch while something evil happens you are telling the person doing the evil thing that it's ok to do that - and that there won't be consequences if they continue

1 week ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 1

You know what else results in nothing? This.

1 week ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

If you go "they shouldn't do that" and then do nothing at all about it, there's not much difference. Nobody ever stopped genociding because somebody wagged a finger at them and went "golly gee you oughta knock that off fellas"

"golly gee you oughta knock that off fellas" but anyway here are the weapons and hardware you ordered.

Imagine some guy is beating the absolute shit out of you. And i tell him dont do that its bad. But i give him water, a protein bar and offer to fan him so he doesnt overheat... how much have I helped you?

1 week ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

The bad guys are continuing their bullshit because no one wants to get involved because of reasons. Mutually assured destruction seems to be what everyone wants in the end.

1 week ago | Likes 31 Dislikes 2

just two reasons really:
1 - Israel do be bribing
2- there's no money or resources in saving an impoverished populace

1 week ago | Likes 14 Dislikes 1

"reasons" is doing a lot of heavy lifting in that sentence...

1 week ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 2

Indeed. Also, when the Rwandan Hutus massacred their Tutsi neighbors, nobody in the West had any problem calling it for what it was, a genocide. Yet, this time, for some reason...

The people with souls know what is happening and have called it out. It's the powers that be in place that have loaned their tongues to their cats until further notice. Their hands are tied /s

i think the real point to be made is how the world did buttfuck nothing about the rwanda genocide while it was ongoing but were quick to jump against the genocides in the former yugoslavia -- both were horrible atrocities against human life and community that deserve to be recognized for what they are, but the one against white ethnic groups received far more direct action than the one against black ethnic groups.

1 week ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

similarly, in this case, arabs are only ever treated by the west as white when it's politically convenient, hence the similarly diffident intergovernmental response to the genocide israel is committing in gaza and outright ignorance of the simultaneous genocide that the rapid support forces are committing in sudan.
