In aircraft there's an app for that. :-) Such as in Garmin G-1000 and above, the 2nd screen shows primary instruments if 1st screen dies.

Vision correction is the issue. Glasses fall off, contacts do nasty things at low pressure, and even corrective surgery can fail at high G.
