I am envious. I can't afford it.

Hell yeah! I've been going roughly every month for a year for 45 minutes to an hour and a half. I just get bored sitting for longer than that. I still have a long way to go but I'm super happy with the progress

I assume you're having kidney problems but I hope you're actually fulfilling your life long dream of getting chrome plated.

That’s dialysis

I'm so proud of you. I hope you are proud of yourself. Keep up the good work.

Ive been doing 2 hours every other week but the closest place to me is a 2.5 hour drive each way. Its so expensive :(

For those of us that aren't entirely sure what this referring to but are still super happy that you're doing what makes you happy... what's this about?

It’s a painful but permanent hair removal technique I’m doing my face right now

17 hours ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Always been curious about something like that. Not trans, I just don't like facial hair and don't like having to shave all the time

Proud of you sister!

Dreading it, the price and the process.

Awesome, how long for each session? Been doing hour, and my place offered 4 hour weekend sessions if I want.

I’ve been doing just an hour at a time but I know I could handle longer

Here's my advice: Schedule your appointment for the morning (the technician is tired later), apply a new anesthetic every hour, and don't take more than three hours at a time, as the technician loses focus. And one more thing: you won't get used to the pain, so apply ice packs afterward.

Nerve block! Nerve block! Just kidding. Do what ya gotta do though.

Is it possible to do multiple sessions at once? As in, having multiple estheticians at once? Would that be more bearable (time wise), or far far less?

Yeah, that's why I'm planning to spring for laser, myself.

It helps to show off the muscles.

I get it. Separating oxygen and hydrogen is very addictive.

So is purifying metals, like copper.

Are you getting the tattoo therapy bug yet ?

1 day ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 3

God, I wish tattoos weren't so expwnsive

23 hours ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

It's cheaper if you do them yourself!

21 hours ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Me too but this isn’t cheap either I’m not gonna be able to get any tats for awhile😢

I’m going Thursday to get my garter band finished pretty excited but the first 6.5 hours were super painful

I feel you'll learn to crave it

I’m already covered lol running out of space

1 day ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Well ladies can only have hair from the eyebrow up.

1 day ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 4

How was it? What would you compare it to?

23 hours ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 2

I've had it. It's like getting stung by a bee over and over. Painful but quick. But also each hair needs to be done a couple times.

19 hours ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Electrolysis is a needle inserted into the follicle, zapped, and then plucked. It's 3 points of pain that's done by the time they pluck the hair out. It is better than laser in that it ca get blonde hairs missed by laser. I've been doing it for over a year and probably will be going for another year

19 hours ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 1

How many hairs are you removing...? Like a years is along time for removal, or am I thinking wrong?

13 hours ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

There's a whole thing about hair growth cycles. Sometimes I'll go in and there's significantly less hairs but I had a period recently and all the hormones kicked up the hair growth again. If I'm there for 45 minutes I'm guessing she'll grab probably about 50 hairs. It's a long process but I want this and I'll keep coming back

Are you getting your whole body done? I think that need face and neck. I could probably laser my chest.

10 hours ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I'm just doing my vagina for now. I'm a blonde so laser only got the black hairs. My male friend did his beard and neck with laser and loves the results

6 hours ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Geez - how expensive has it been for this?

11 hours ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

It's about $75-125 per session. She works with me bc she knows I'm committed and I'll keep coming back

6 hours ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

It wasn’t to bad kinda like a bunch of bee stings I guess, not as bad as a tattoo

Nope all natural lol

23 hours ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I actually really enjoyed getting tattooed. Did they give you any numbing agents?

23 hours ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 1

Get the inside of your elbow done. Then get your actual elbow done. Which is worse?

13 hours ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I've had both. Elbow pit hurts bad. Sternum was WAY worse
