I can not even imagine how long that would've taken to properly dry. Very beautiful work

Hauntingly beautiful.

4 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

I want it

Have you checked your local dumpster?

4 years ago | Likes 20 Dislikes 0

That looks to me like a back + butt...

4 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

With the amount of nude drawings that come through this site it isn't that surprising

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I was about 99% sure this was just a close zoom on a Snickers bar for a while there...

4 years ago | Likes 53 Dislikes 0

Given "gutter" I was waiting on a like. splashed shit joke. Was pleasantly surprised lol

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

In response to "looks like a zoom on a Snickers bar", I'm just gonna copy the comment below: "Hauntingly beautiful"

I pretty sure it's literally just mud slopped on a paper

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Oh I recognize that autograph. The painter is Vecna.

Quite the eye you've got there...

If it's of Slavic origin it might mean Vesna, goddess of spring.

Dude just admitted to stealing the only decoration in zoidberg's house

Could be one of those mass produced pieces some companies made in the 80's grandma has 2 similar ones

4 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 1

The copyright sign beside the signature did have me raise an eyebrow, but I thought more amateur painter. You could be right.

That sequence was profound to me. The contrast between Roy giving the best compliment he could and Michael being blown away by her work.

4 years ago | Likes 36 Dislikes 0

Roy's compliment was a half-hearted attempt to coerce Pam to sex him up at his place. Michael's was genuine pride with no ulterior motive.

As an artist, I am almost certain they threw it out themselves because they thought it was terrible.

4 years ago | Likes 23 Dislikes 1

Bc it is terrible or bc they’re too harsh on their work? Seems weird tho. Why frame it unless you really like it

4 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

Where... where does it say that the frame is what it had when found next to dumpster? My money is on OP framing it to our on wall.

4 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

to put* on wall

Too cool. Simple. Élégant.

Though I grew up when these commercials were popular, my mind always jumps to the Wayne's World scene where they parody it.

4 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

It's a butt!

4 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Oh wow. Thank goodness you found it, that's really good looking

4 years ago | Likes 15 Dislikes 1

Unbeknownst to you the painting continues to grow

4 years ago | Likes 613 Dislikes 1

What is this? Archive 81?

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

And @OP starts to get weaker ....

4 years ago | Likes 50 Dislikes 0

Each bird in the painting is the trapped soul of a person who found it before @OP

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

A month passes and not seeing a tiny bud growing, you thumb the corner to straighten it. It doesn't move

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

My first thought was, "Is that shit?" Is about the only thing I find behind dumpsters

4 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

I want the Ass Dumpster Painting.

If you are near a local university, show your pics to professors in their art deparment.

4 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Perhaps the artist was a student, or possibly someone will recognize the style and signature.

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Someone here figured it out, it’s by Ivan Bruin!

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

You found my painting! What a relief!

4 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

when the impasto is thick enough for your painting to count as s sculpture

4 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

That’s definitely trapping a great old one like Sammael. Don’t expose it to blood or scratch at it it break the frame.

4 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

The artist is obviously V squigglesquiggle. Classic mistake op.

4 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

TIL that you achieve such heavy impasto with a gluelike medium and paint it afterwards. This painting is amazing. Lucky you.

4 years ago | Likes 33 Dislikes 1

It’s good but not hot glue for sure. Could be spackle or plaster or even liquid nails. It is skillfully done, I agree

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Sticks. Sticks and hot glue.

4 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Oh. Shit. Okay. *zips up*

4 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

Can’t tell if the backside in the negative space is whimsical coincidence or purposeful. Pretty cool either way!

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Getting some serious Elden Ring vibes here.

Wow. Awesome find

4 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 0

Thank you! I've been trying to figure out the artist for 15 years or so, thank you so much!

4 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

I think the signature is square root of 122,which is important in math for some reason. I think it's a reference to La Géométrie,

4 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

That’s what it looked like to me as well for a while, I was pretty sure it was iV something w 4 letters but turns out that was the 1st name

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

one of the most important works published by the mathematician and philosopher René Descartes (1596–1650),

4 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Because the symbol copyright did not exist before 1952, it's newer than that.

Cool insights

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

There is 0 chance that isnt haunted

4 years ago | Likes 1574 Dislikes 5

nah bro, that shit aint haunted. it’s an outright cursed object. jokes, and visuals, aside. that shit creeps me out in ways only cursed>

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

objects can. if i saw that in person i’d GTFO as fast as possible. 1 cursed object was enough for a lifetime.

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I also found a painting next to a dumpster. Hanged it in my shed. https://imgur.com/CrIRhHX.png

The artist is Ivar Bruun, died in 2003; born in Oslo and died in the US. Someone else found it, I am just passing this on.

4 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

That's it! That has to be it! There are even several he did with the similar bird and water motifs! Thank you!

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

It’s a chocolate cake trapped in Carbonite.

4 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Or it just has very specific curae conditions. When you eventually die the next person will find it by a dumpster with more branches

The Apollo astronauts saw unidentified small objects passing the lander module they referred to as “moon pigeons” and not making that up

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

@OP can you give a better lighted close up photo of the dog please. Might be H or T Vinn or Vira or V or maybe the V is a square root sign

It’s very stylized, looks a lot like an equation to me but maybe Ivonn or ivian or ivira

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Like i square root 123

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Hey @OP I looked through bunch of signat databases. I could not find a match unfort. #Closest in my guess names was an F Viri, a Filipino

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

It’s skillfully done, w the sun highlights & what appears to be a blue wash over the sea. Looks like 1960’s or 70’s to me. Maybe from Mexico

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I did find it in Tucson, AZ so Mexico would be a distinct possibility actually.

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Well I found it close to 15 years ago, moved it to several homes in that time. If it’s haunted the ghost is very polite and keeps to itself.

4 years ago | Likes 198 Dislikes 0

Not after Annabelle and I stop by with a copy of the necronomicon it won't be

It's all calm til someone breaks into your house and you find out the ghost is... protective... of the person who rescued its painting.
