I was a mail carrier for 18 years. The 2nd Saturday in May is the annual National Letter Carriers 'Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive.' I had a park-and-loop route for about 8 years that was half well-to-do and half middle-class/working poor. Part of that route had very wealthy homes. The wealthy half -every year- gave next to nothing. The middle-class/poor, who understood privation, were the most generous. Four-fifths of my collection would come from them. It was hard to not resent the rich folk.

Fear keeps quite a few people firmly entrenched. I'm a union delegate and we've issued a PABO because they're not negotiating. The amount of managers also covered by the EA treating staff like shit is astounding. We're going to work hard to get our workers fairer rights and pay.

I actually think that there's too many pineapple pizza enjoyers who still play it safe with topping choice compared to what it can be on a pizza.I find that the traditional "Hawaiian" pizza is usually pretty mediocre, but pineapple goes great on peperoni pizza, or especially on BBQ chicken pizza.
