Nazi Castle. The Hohenzollern are in a legal dispute as newer historic researches showed that Crown Prinze William worked against the Weimarer republic together with the Nazi to maybe regain his Title with Hitler as Chancellor. Hitler used it only as tool to get the old Right behind the New Right Movement. But legally Hohenzollern still may lose their property as Nazi Supporters. They had to started a fight to regain their Eastern properties and now may (unlikely) lose everything.

.... That's not this castle. You are thinking of Neuschwanstein, built by the King of Bavaria, who suffered from mental illnesses (possibly caused by having had to suppress his homosexuality his whole life). THIS castle is the ancestral seat of the house of Hohenzollern, Prince-Electors of Brandenburg, Kings of Prussia and German Emperors. They built this more modern castle on top of the old ruin in the 19th century, so yeah this was meant as a residence not as a fortress.

If I were to, I would think the hill leading up to the short wall on the upper level on the right front side. Wouldn’t be fun to do under a flight of arrows while running up hill but at least you can sidestep the defense in front.
