In the US constitution or the Canadian Charter does not have a clause that says you lose your human rights if you're LGBTQ+
Politicians who start talking or trying to break human rights need to be removed from office immediately.

The state or the country?
tollgret
Fair question. Reading the article it appears to be the U.S. state of Georgia

And here's Colorado with a loss about fuck-ass conversion therapy
QuartzPoker
Kinda? It was specifically a loss on "You can't talk to kids about their sexual identity or gender presentation", which DID exist for a good reason but also was a bit overbroad because it limited what counselors and therapists could talk about. The more extreme stuff is still firmly banned, and the stuff SCOTUS examined was remanded to lower courts who may decide to keep it partially active instead of getting rid of it entirely.

Anti LGBT+ laws are like the orphan crushing machine. It' amazing that you are defeating it, but it shouldn't exist at all.
awkungen42
True, it's weird to see two red states do this. If I'm not mistaken, Montana also killed all the anti-LGBT+ laws as well.

Conservatives seem to need a group to make โthe otherโ to rally people to hate, so they can mostly have their voters ignore the rest of their votes.
As long as conservatives arenโt lgbt or donโt admit it, itโs a very easy group to make the bogeyman.
IamIntoleranceIntolerant
It's the fundamental tactic of authoritarians everywhere.

Not at all! Self-designation as 'trans' has fallen precipitously over the last four years in western nations. Allowing the neo-communist 'trans' movement to railroad the liberal 1970's LGB movement was an astonishing theoretical error! 'Ordinary people' -- overworked people too busy to chase the theory down the rabbit hole -- are realising the anti-science and anti-democratic nature of 'trans,' and rejecting it. Reports like the U.K.'s Cass Report Final Review are coming to light.

Fuck off back under whatever rock you came from, terf cockroach.
GwensBackOnHerBS
Do you have a reference for the rate of self designating as trans?
Everything else you said, including and especially the Cass report, is 100% bullshit.
That first bit is new to me, although I would expect its just because the fucking Republicans and other fadcists have hate boners for trans people and are implementing policy which makes it undesirable to self report, and it wouldn't have any impact on the actual number of trans people.
Anyway, if you do have a reference, I'd love to see it
indiamikezulu
Heck, Google 'trans numbers drop.' And 'fascist' doesn't have a 'd.' It -- the drop in self-labelling not fascist with a 'd' -- makes perfect sense in respect of my first comment. Almost all historical radical-left movements -- 'climate' is a fine example -- follow this trajectory, at least in an authoritarian poststructuralist model: brief compassion-driven spike; people reading the fine print; people being repulsed. Bear in mind that 'trans' has been a fizzer across the rest of the world.
GwensBackOnHerBS
So no reference.
Thanks, go fuck yourself you lying moron.
