Did you know lighters were invented before matches?

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Oh nail polish... hmmm... Haven't bothered with that in a while.

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

That's neat

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Because they're refillable. They've been around for decades; maybe 100 years. The canister holds a small amount of naphtha/lighter fluid.

5 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Like a lighter with extra steps

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

What's in the other? Is it a makro nuke?

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Lets just say you don't want to mix them up. "Got a light?" - "Yep"

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Cool, got it!

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

No link? What the hell is this, facebook?

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Pocket ripper 3000

I do not like this woman's thumb. Or this man's thumb, or whoever's thumb this is.

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Just get an arc lighter and use usb to charge it. Being a pyro can get expensive

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

They should make that but for cocaine

5 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

If your burning it... It's probably crack

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

I think they meant a fillable chamber with a spoon instead of a match.

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

this guy gets it

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Ok Pam

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Shaped like Fat Man and Little Boy. Very nice

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

A not so subtle stab at the Japanese by a Chinese manufacturer?

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

It’s the bomb

5 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 2

Allah akbar

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Wow...Little Boy A-bomb matches...how ironic

5 years ago | Likes 44 Dislikes 3

Its like rai-eee-aaiiiiin on your wedding day

5 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

It's the bomb.

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Only if you're Japanese

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Especially when you consider the fact the hiroshima blast was a "dud" caused by .7 grams of fissionable material. Crushed by a dollar bill.

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

never read that but it doesnt make sense to call 2nd nuke ever a dud. More like less efficient.

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 2

I had one of these once upon a time. The wick wears out pretty quick and is a pain to replace. Other than that it's a neat little lighter.

5 years ago | Likes 535 Dislikes 1

My mom bought me a cheapy one and it just makes sparks. Wont light shit. It's sad :(

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Can confirm. I don’t even know how to replace the wick so it’s not lighting anymore

5 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Yeah, great for camping, not so great for a survival kit. Unless these are somehow better than the ones I've used.

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Even if there's no fuel left you still have a spark. Not the best for lighting like a cigarette or anything but its better than nothing

5 years ago | Likes 17 Dislikes 0

The spark isn't for cigarettes, but if you have something which catches an ember, you can start a fire from the spark

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Not really an every day lighter, but with a good seal it can be a neat waterproof survival fire starter.

5 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

My step dad had a couple. He went to light it and the entire lighter burst into flames. After that he threw them all away

5 years ago | Likes 92 Dislikes 2

Too much lighter fluid? A zippo will pretty much do the same thing if you over fill it.

5 years ago | Likes 33 Dislikes 0

No I think the match wasn't screwed on tightly and it slowly leaked out and when he went to strike it went up in flames

5 years ago | Likes 1217 Dislikes 22

Wish I saw that earlier

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

It’s worst that I ever imagined

5 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I had to unite, I normally never do, but your comment was like, wet paint don't touch, and now that will be with me for the rest of the day

5 years ago | Likes 47 Dislikes 1

Unntie???? What! NO unmute...fuck!!!

5 years ago | Likes 18 Dislikes 1

Again with the typos

5 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 1

5 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

I might have died

5 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I had it unmuted cause the last post for me actually was an unmute. whhhyyyy

5 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

5 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Why has there been an increase of interesting gifs with dumb unrelated music?

5 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Gen Z needs constant noise to drown out the existential threats in their moments of silence. I need it too, lately.

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I already have my own music on though, I don't need to have another song trying to overpower the music I actually want to be listening to.

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

That's older gen logic

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Don't try these as a gift for your japanese business partners, just sayin'...

5 years ago | Likes 319 Dislikes 7

Not to mention they look like they would cost A Bomb to buy

5 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 2

But those presents would be a blast.

5 years ago | Likes 63 Dislikes 1

Or take through an airport.

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

In stead give them a huge pair of Docks Martins and clap your hands when they stomp their feet Come one man, clap your damn hands! Clap!

Little boy, you better be a fat man to joke about this kind of thing...

5 years ago | Likes 46 Dislikes 5

Or a little boy

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

Man, haddn' be able to put that better.

5 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

Thought they looked familiar

5 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

A lighter with extra steps.

5 years ago | Likes 181 Dislikes 9

But it’s an extra step that’s PRETTY cool

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Arent these intended not to run out?

5 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 0

These last a lot longer than something not sealed like a Zippo would, but I've only gotten about two weeks outta mine.

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Zippos only last like 3 days then you have to refill the fluid, this is kinda the same idea so it probably wouldn't last long

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

3 days? How much are you lightning on fire?

5 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Sadly just lots of cigarettes when I was younger

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

They'll run out when the fuel in the main body runs out, this is basically a deconstructed zippo.

5 years ago | Likes 40 Dislikes 0

Yes, but they're older than the Zippo company.

5 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

To wit: Zippo was founded in 1932. Ronson made the frist permanent match in 1910. Ferrocerium "flint" was patented in 1903, enabling them.

5 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

yeah, but it is neat

5 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

Totally
