The home in Florida that I owned for 2 years (because family reasons) had a pool. It was nice when it was hot, but the maintenance was hella expensive.
Out of morbid curiosity (not a pool owner): What would be a better method? (Drop a pack of denture cleaning tabs in and wait for things to fizzle out?)
I'm just quessing, but start to fill it, put the pool roomba in, and scoop out the leaves whilst manually scrub-a-dubbing the walls. Also, I am not a pool cleaner but have cleaned one a couple of times.
I would fill it, treat it with chemical to sanitize it, then clean it. Sanitizing it will make it safe to interact with and kill the microbials that are clinging to the pool and leaves. After its treated you can just net the leaves and brush the pool. The filter will catch the smaller particles and you purge them from the filter with a backwash. Cleaning a pool like this video is a great way to get incredibly sick.

People underestimate how much the vibration in your hands hurts after not very long. Also, most pressure washing videos are sped up in real life it's a pretty lengthy ordeal.
Power-washing concrete is satisfying. Power-washing a biofouled pool must smell like Satan's last meal. I would just expect to be sick after doing something like that.
i try to do our concrete each year but the city has been pushing back on the water usage dates and I've missed it for a couple of years. Used to be good on a early summer day when it wasn't too cold but I'm going to have to get out and do it while it's still cold next year.
Funnily enough, that post doesn't even mention some of the craziest stuff that happens. It's a weird thought, but Powerwash Simulator is in fact something worth avoiding spoilers for.
Final Fantasy and Tomb Raider are not that surprising. PWS is also published by Squeenix, just loke those two. I'm guessing the other licenses were just reasonably within budget after the initial success.
It's surprisingly satisfying without being overly heavy on the more annoying parts of the real thing. Makes for a very relaxing experience, and they keep putting in more jobs for free (alongside paid, licensed DLC).

Looks like fun. My city doesn't have a pool cleaning service. There's a thought.

Did you know you can just go out and buy a pressure washer, and wash things? You don't have to hire someone to do it.
Hemelsblauw
It bugs me that they only change their shoes for the last bit.
martineb72
They didn't change the footwear. It was somebody else helping them wearing galoshes.
sethcx
Is it just me that's irrationally bothered by the four missing black tiles on the bottom step?
iGotFOLDERS
Same.
YourAuntThatGrabsYourAssWhenDrunk
They were there in the beginning. He powerwashed them off)

That all tile look is nice.

Should have cleaned the edges first...
Bagagwa
Or the ground tiles all around the pool

Yeah those

Didn't realise the graphics on PowerWash Simulator were so good

I've cleaned out many, many pools to skate in. Sometimes the hard work is worth it. Often times it is not.

what a slutty pool

Pools are a huge waste of water, especially these days.

Is this TheP00lGuy ?
martineb72
Odd choice of footwear for working with water. If not full galoshes then some oiled leather boots.
WhiskyBravo
agreed I would be wearing rubber boots
DillPixels
I can't get over them doing this in those nice looking clean shoes.
noReallyIamPrincessBob
That looks great, but also looks like it has only been drained for one season and that it’s fairly new.
dkpooba
I like the tiling. Very nice looking pool. Well done!
TheHuntedSnark
That was quick.
4etherling
As a pool guy, this is a really huge waste of time and an inefficient way to clean a pool.

What mod is this for power wash simulator?
ImGonnaMissThisPlace
This seems to be pool cleaning simulator! I see no rubber ducks tho.
PleaseRespectMyAsshole
My brain IMMEDIATELY went to that game.

I think it's the cabana map. But now I want to check if there are mods or custom maps

Can I pay to do this?

Going power wash your car after a day in the muddy country gives you the same kind of satisfaction :-)

It seems so therapeutic and satisfying, I bet people would pay to do just the spraying part

Idk people play the power wash simulator game for hours at a time.
downvoteifyouhatekittens
Well that's me shut up
Kiotetravels
The video game isn't a billion decibels and viciously vibrating your hands and soaking you in a fine spray of filthy water
RevRagnarok
There's a pretty popular game on Steam I see a friend playing sometimes. Prolly on sale right now even.
LeSethX
Especially since in game you do the power washing without dealing with the mess afterwards

It's funny how they've gotten collabs with stuff like Final Fantasy, SpongeBob, Warhammer 40K, Shrek, Tomb Raider.

It's still a pretty random collection of titles, it is funny though.

Didn't want to get the name wrong. I do remember giving him shit about it and he said it's relaxing on his Deck before going to bed.
That just sounds wrong, but I said what I said.
