Yeah, it sucks that this species only produces muzak. The females are very skittish, so the males try to calm them with the most boring and generic melodies imaginable.
If I had the patience to deal with feeding and maintaining the enclosure, I would definitely have frogs. Some of the dart frogs are incredibly beautiful. I saw some black and blue ones for sale that looked incredible. Fuck dealing with fruit flies, though.
