That poor dog, trained to think it's okay to attack random civilians (especially those who are BIPoC).

The constant evidence of poor training and control tells me over and over that American police are not capable of handling dogs.

The history of police dogs in this country is a disgrace to all dogs.

They 'll all be arrested for attempted injury to police dog.

1 year ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

the dog attacks 3 different black people

“He’s good. He’s good. He’s good.” WTF is that ‘officer’ saying?

1 year ago | Likes 17 Dislikes 0

Fuck the police and fuck their weaponized fur bullets. Never forget those dogs have more rights than you.

1 year ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

So who is responsible for deciding that dog was ready to be in a public setting because whoever that was is not qualified to make that decision and whoever put the dog handler in control also not qualified to decide who would be a good dog handler it's a few people that should get fired.

Autonomous torture drones, used to manufacture probable cause. No police dog is at all safe because it's whims are backed by deadly force.

1 year ago | Likes 42 Dislikes 2

Did he sue?

1 year ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

There's all the opportunity to do so. Video proof, badge numbers.... yeah, he could very well be in an attorney's office Tuesday morning.

1 year ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

The dog was absolutely trained to attach people of color.

1 year ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Dogs should never be used to hurt people. It’s cruel and should be stopped.

The same applies to the police themselves.

Cops using police dogs should be considered animal abuse. They torture those animals to get them to turn into wild animals.

1 year ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 1

This is animal abuse

1 year ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

There's a bad history with police dogs and black people. Like, I know that's obvious, but it's worse than you think.

1 year ago | Likes 21 Dislikes 1

That dog was going after anyone brown that it could bite. Needs to be retired and whoever trained and handled it investigated.

1 year ago | Likes 19 Dislikes 1

That’s a poorly trained dog if his handler cant get him to release.

As much as I hope for him but I lack the belief it will happen. I would bet they will say something along the lines of he has a history of blah blah blah and police have immunity by golly I hope im wrong and not just desensitized to this shit

But but, their training is always top notch (if you don’t need to use the restroom) https://archive.ph/e8YXk

1 year ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

As a dog trainer intern with a particular interest in protection training, that dog is not well trained at all. Each dog used in protection must have a solid out command response for bite work. This means the dog must release upon hearing the command 99.99% of the time. Dogs are trained to do bite work without the dog being emotionally invested, meaning it's not angry or afraid, it is doing what it's trying to do just like a trick. I hope that this person sued the crap out of them for using ill

Trained canines and officers

1 year ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

To be fair, it's not like the pigs are well-trained either. Just a bunch of violent animals set loose on the innocent.

1 year ago | Likes 17 Dislikes 0

For all we know, the dog could be very well trained, and it’s the officers that suck. I didn’t hear them trying to call it off, just grabbing it. Probably both, though. Sad.

1 year ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 1

It's hard to tell for sure, but I thought I heard him trying to call it off, just before running on screen with the collar and leash. He was calling something, sounded a bit like 'OFF', but my brain could just be a mondegreen.

1 year ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Nah that's shit training. It shouldn't be doing that without a command, let alone keep at it. I've been to the Police god training center in Canada and they take that shit very seriously and talk in depth about it during their presentations.

1 year ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 0

So, both. Nobody but a shit cop would let a shit dog off the leash.

Exactly, back in "the good ol times" we also didn't like the social disgust that happened when we first saw footage of cops siccing dogs on civil rights protesters. People are so woke now, didn't like it back then and still don't like it now 🙄 /s

Stop the nonsense. They use cops in bite suits. I hate this about Imgur. Shit is bad enough without the fake crap. You fuckers don’t hesitate to make shit up and start spreading the hate, just like Trump. That and the fucking ads that just start and can’t be shut off is the death of this place. Fuckers call foul and talk crap about the republicans and fox and turn around and do the same exact shit.

1 year ago | Likes 16 Dislikes 11

Hell yeah.. you just can't make up or say shit that feels right. Because any mistake made by a liberal is magnified by 1000x and weaponized by the Maga chode media and Russian bots to cast doubt on everything. Dogs shouldn't be used by police. Just search and rescue. Exactly for this reason. I hope those men sued the city.

1 year ago | Likes 14 Dislikes 1

Agreed. I see them more like advanced military equipment. (I love dogs and don't see them as tools, just using the metaphor for my point.) Appropriate in some war secanrios to keep soldiers safe, but an unnecessary level of force for law enforcement. The same reason cops don't need military hand me downs of any other sort, so the average street cop can pretend to be Rambo.

1 year ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Your household mutt isnt a tool, but a lot of breeds legit are. Heelers, pointers, shepherds, and a few more. They can absolutely be just house pets, but their wiring makes them want to be used as tool.

Attacking humans, especially specific humans, is not something inherently in their wiring.

That being said, even if you don’t see the animals as tools, if you understand they come from a long line of tools it can make training them much easier.

1 year ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

We almost had a mayor that wanted to increase surveillance and increase the police budget. Also, he wanted to completely gut the homeless program funded by the city. This is Oklahoma, and we voted for the other more progressive person. They already have military verticals and a small college town doesn't need increased surveillance. It's not a military compound.

1 year ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Usually it's the cops themselves that wear big bite suits. You don't use dummys for dogs like this. An easy google will give you exactly how they train K-9 units

1 year ago | Likes 54 Dislikes 8

Most of the time you see those suits being used take note what color it is.

1 year ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 38

Green?

1 year ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Also, dogs dont see colors the same way we do. They're effectively color blind. This entire argument is mental. Hate cops all you want but this is next level stupid.

1 year ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 6

Eh nothing new, though I guess ask WHAT THE FUCK happened in this vid? Cop lose control of the fur missle?

1 year ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

Probably. Most K9's are well-trained at the start. Pretty rigorous to train puppies up enough to graduate. However, like all dogs with jobs or specific skills, you have to constantly be reinforcing their training properly. It wouldn't surprise me if some cops forgot that dogs aren't machines and didn't keep up with their training. I'm more familiar with MWDs which have different training, but lifelong reinforcement is universal.

1 year ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Dogs can't see red. They can see green and blue just fine, as well as determining between light and dark. A dog would be able to tell the difference between skin tones easily.

1 year ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 1

A quick google shows that they're literally every color under the sun. Besides, they do not cover the face.

1 year ago | Likes 20 Dislikes 0

And yet every training video released shows one of 2 colors - dark brown or black.

1 year ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 9

Well when I worked with police departments for just under 10 years and they would be doing the dog training they'd have black. When I'd ask in the middle of summer why they used black instead of a lighter color they would say "why do think" and proceed to chuckle. Do they come in whatever color you want yes but I'd be curious if you could actually see the stats for which color police dog trainers purchase the most.

1 year ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 10

You seriously think a dog makes a correlation between black plastic and black skin? Cops suck but that ain’t why.

1 year ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Hate police all you want. There are genuine reasons to have issues with law enforcement in the US. This is just silly

1 year ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 1

Imagine training an animal to assault people from birth then being shocked it does that.

1 year ago | Likes 100 Dislikes 1

The piggies didn’t look the least bit “shocked” : /

1 year ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Malinois and shepherds are absolutely intelligent enough to be trained to use discretion, it's clear that was not done here

1 year ago | Likes 14 Dislikes 1

found alot of these dogs were trained on attack signals and its the officers who were picking the poeple

1 year ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

If he was properly trained, he would never have gone off like that, and returned immediately when called. I guess that's another thing that they aren't funding properly.

1 year ago | Likes 62 Dislikes 3

suing is NOT easy, collecting is even more difficult. the GOP/media spread it's easy to sue by using a few examples (often outrageous) purposely to shift opinion that suing is out of control and laws must be changed (and it's worked, laws have been changed). an employer owed my mom $700K and it was in writing, all the proof, she even (illegally) recorded him saying it. she couldn't get a lawyer to take the case, not enough profit for time put in.

Doubt. Pretty much everything is geared towards police can do no wrong. Id be surprised if they even cover replacing the jacket

1 year ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

I think the public is highly misinformed when it comes to suing the govt. The govt only pays out to corporations and very rich people, not regular people.

1 year ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Actually after a thorough investigation, it was found that the innocent bystander is actually guilty of attacking the dog and the officer, and his immigration status is questionable so he's being deported to a random country

1 year ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

They will investigate and find their selves not guilty on all charges the child will get nothing.

1 year ago | Likes 14 Dislikes 1

It would be civil lawsuit, though. Not a case of cops investigating themselves for wrongdoing. Plenty have won civil suits against cops and jurisdiction even though cop found not guilty of crimes.

1 year ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

You animal lovers will hate me for this comment...

1 year ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 3

1 year ago | Likes 14 Dislikes 0

Plenty have received civil damages when cop wasn't convicted criminally of crime. Two different things...and courts.

1 year ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 1

An acquittal certainly won't help a civil case, but you're correct. It's also important to reiterate that the evidentiary standard for civil suits is "preponderance of evidence" vs criminal cases' "beyond a reasonable doubt". If you had to assign (somewhat arbitrary) probabilities to those ideas, a criminal case needs to be 95%+ airtight, but a civil case can be won if you can beat a coin toss.

1 year ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

OJ Simpson wasn't able to be convicted in a criminal court based on the reasonable doubt standard, but the family of the victim was awarded millions of dollars for being able to beat the preponderance standard.

A civil case can only ever find you *liable* and can't put you in jail. A criminal case is what finds you "guilty".

Its gonna go to a last call dodge charger, weed and stripclubs. No one is stupid enough to waste money on school in this economy and political environment. They all know the system is rigged against them so he's gonna get it while he can. Facts. The american dream of going to school and having a prestigious career no matter your skin or culture is dead. It was never alive in the first place, just a lie to keep people in line on top of institutions making bank off the poor and willing.

1 year ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 2

No one except for the 20 million or so current college students. If my child was still young I'd definitely push for secondary and better education vs. Just being happy with a H.S. diploma. College and/or go into business for himself with. But just taking a H.S. diploma into the work world won't get much.

One kid did nuero-sciences and the other did transportation engineering. I'll take my chances with higher education degrees. But it's important to choose one that still is or will be in demand

1 year ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

I mean if you think it's wasteful in *this economy and political environment nothing stays the same. It's best to be prepared.

I don't if you have kids, but if you do, would or did you tell them it's stupid to get a higher education?

1 year ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

If higher education garanteed a better way of living, then im wrong and youre correct. But there are people with polysci, arts and other degrees working at starbucks and candle lit restaurants, grounding your pepper and living off the tips. Why arent they working in their field of study? they wasted 4 years of time, money and energy for a piece of paper theyre never gonna use. No one in my generation is ever gonna be a homeowner unless its inherited or youre bank rolled by a rich family

1 year ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I'll ask again, do you have kids and did you tell them it's stupid to get a higher education?

1 year ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

A good half of that 20 million or so current collage students wont be woking in thier field of study due to low demand, competitiveness and ai taking their job, especially in the arts and buisness sector. Half of that half will drop out due to burn out because not being financially stable enough to focus on school and work. Not everyone is into brain science or transport.

A GED can be anywhere from wendys to an oil rig welder making 6 degits a year working only 4 months. Degrees arent garantees

1 year ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Strangely enough, they do more than just neuroscience and transport. Getting an education isn't supposed to be about "getting a job", it's to educate yourself, expand your mind and critical information processing tools. It's odd how many American get so hyperfocused on money.

1 year ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Thats why if you really wanted to learn and educate youreself, the materials are online, just gotta piece it together. I'd rather that than +40k in debt. And Americans live in the most capitalistic nation on earth, of course we're gonna hyperfocus on money. Thats the whole reason people work, so they can spend on deserved pleasure from hard work. If you loved your job so much, you'd work for free, you'd be broke af. Cant provide for a family and yourself. Cash rules everything around me. CREAM
