What election? This time next year, things are going to be looking really bleak for voters who don't support this regime.

Except Musk rigged the 2024 election with shitloads of evidence to link him to it. Except who's going to investigate that right now...

What a naive idiot. The GOP has been ignoring reality for decades, from global warming to vaccines to any kind of science. Ignoring the will of the people is child's play for them.

The GQP candidate will simply win every swing state again in yet another stunning and amazingly unpredictable fashion. And we will all scratch our heads and wonder how. And the GQP, literally the people that count the votes, will laugh all the way to Washington.

The Republican party has effectively seized control of all three branches of government, backed by a militarized secret police that will be larger than many free-standing armies of the world. These are facts, not some conspiracy theory or hyperbole. With this as a backdrop, do you honestly think that if the 2026 midterms or 2028 presidential election (if we have one) don't go their way, the Republican Party will just say "aw shucks," walk away, and relinquish control?

Trump's voters are in a cult. Unless Trump falls over dead before the election, there is literally nothing that will stop MAGA from voting for him. He could take baby from some lady's arms and then stove it into the ground like a football, and he wouldn't lose a single vote.

11 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Puts troops in cities. Then when the election comes. Troops take over polls

11 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Saying that as someone not from the US: You really think they'll lose? They did so much shit, you think they won't do election fraud?

11 months ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

They already did

11 months ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

In that case, whats keeping them from doing it again? Why not a third term? Why not a russia-style mock election? Why not a dictatorship?

11 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I want you to remember this comment in 2028

11 months ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

It won't be overwhelming, because the majority of the US population are irredeemably stupid.

11 months ago | Likes 18 Dislikes 1

Aren't they doing exactly that right this moment? /gallery/pedo-protector-mike-MgHsk5S

11 months ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

we literally have examples from history across the world to show that that is indeed not the case

11 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

They won't be overwhelmingly voted against anyway. They've already won the propaganda war. If this many Americans can both not see what they're doing AND actively side with their bullshit, there's no way they're getting overwhelmingly voted out.

11 months ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

The sheer number of people who genuinely seem to believe that there will be an end to this through voting is depressing.

America is a fascist dictatorship right now, and there has never been a country that has democracy’d their way out of fascism.

11 months ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 1

Nix, find some historical outlines of how fascism came to power and adjust. We just took a huge step toward it.

11 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Don’t expect people to vote. Vote to make sure. People didn’t vote because they thought no idiot would vote for trump. Vote because all of us depend on it

11 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Everyone around Trump has told him everyone loves him, so if they lose the election that means it has to be election fraud. The bigger the loss, the bigger the fraud.

11 months ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 0

Fascinating take. He may genuinely be too stupid and too surrounded by yes men to understand what his underlings are doing, and how many people don’t actually want him. Not saying he’d care if he knew, or try to stop any of it, just an interesting thought.

11 months ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Actually, it makes sense. He seems to get upset with Fox News (instead of anyone else) every time their polls put out unfavorable views.
That's all on him though. He fires anyone who tries to argue with him, no matter what it is.

11 months ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Even if they win, if they didn't win by enough, that means the democrats cheated.

11 months ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

IF the US has an election in 2028 then millions will be struck from the rolls as 'suspicious' and the voters not notified, the gerrymandering will have continued guaranteeing anything blue turns red, and the results from major blue areas will be deemed corrupted and unusable.

11 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

People posting this stuff, what would you prefer people say instead "they will overturn an election so don't bother voting?". It is perfectly possible that the GOP could attempt to overturn an election but even worse if they don't even need to try and can claim their actions have the consent of the public because they genuinely get more votes than their opponents

11 months ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

You gotta say "You want an election? Fight for it!" The Ukrainians showed everyone how to do it in 2013.

11 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Yeah, they did that anyway before they took total power.

They will rig the congressional elections, the presidential election probably won't even happen due to 'war time emergency powers' or some shit and when it does happen...we already know the outcome :p

11 months ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

They won't need to cancel the election. If Trump survives to 2028, the techno-fascists will pay the GOP to declare him mentally unfit, then to rig 2028 to keep their puppet Vance in power.

11 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Except they are systematically stacking the deck legally and clandestinely, so the votes will be in their favor.

11 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

If they J6 again can we at least be sure to throw the entire party in a sunless hole and play the classic game of "First person to rat on the others gets to seen the sun again but permanently retires from politics while everyone else rots". Like, seriously, I want a Federal response that makes their entire news machine look like a bunch of hysterical dipshits for claiming anything before was a "weaponization of Federal authority against political opponents". Show them what that fucking means.

11 months ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Then we use take that person's information say ha ha funny and thow them back in the hole with a everyone and a knife and then stylist one standing gets to eat......

11 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Lol, the time to do that was *maybe* way back at the first impeachment. A more realistic view is that the experiment was doomed from the start due to poor separation of powers, but especially gerrymandering, lobbying, electoral college, and claiming to have values that were essentially non-existent at the founding, and never came to pass.

If it gets to that point, I think we're going to see real rumblings of succession from blue states. I.e., West Coast and NE/Middle Atlantic states. The Midwest is very blue/purple, too. Minnesota and Illinois are reliably blue, and Wisconsin/Michigan have democrat governors and more dem representatives in Congress

SCOTUS already said Trump can do crimes.

11 months ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

The supreme court has already given him absolute power to do anything he wants, and there's no chance his hand picked cronies in the Justice department turn on him. We will never face consequences for his actions. I fully expect mass assets of democrats at the next election before we can vote. They have already set the stage for using their meta glasses to identify people, unmarked officers and unmarked vehicles to kidnap people. We're already cooked, and he already won, unless we stop him.

He does the one Netanjahu pulls all the time: emergency crisis against so he cant go to jail...

11 months ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

Your mistake is that you think laws and precedents mean a damn thing to this regime. They don't and they won't save us.

11 months ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 2

And who or what is going to stop him when he declares it anyway? Because as it stands, he's done a whole lot of shit that he legally isn't allowed to, but turns out? Laws, the US Constitution, and all that, are not magic spells that enforce themselves by disintegrating lawbreakers.

They rely on people upholding them, and right now, there's not much of that going on.

11 months ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 1

You read it here first: "due to rampant voter fraud, the election results will be dismissed, pending an investigation"

11 months ago | Likes 475 Dislikes 3

There's not any actual mechanism to do this. There will be an elected government in absentia.

11 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

First? I've read that many times here before. I've said it myself. There will be no stop to this without violent upheaval.

11 months ago | Likes 21 Dislikes 0

It’s been clear since the first jan6 insurrection. I didn’t expect to witness the end of an empire from the inside, but here we are.

I did, the second I understood that history repeats, 20 years ago. I just expected the us vs them to be "rich nazis and their minions" vs the rest of us, instead of "rich nazis, their minions, and the endless zombie army of fox news viewers" vs the rest of us

11 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Trump declares: "I declare a national emergency because of rampant voter fraud by the liberals. This country is in deep trouble and only I can save it. Therefore I have graciously agreed to remain as president for another term." (Executive order 785)

11 months ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Thing is they actually have the legal basis to do that in Congress, so long as they have more returning and new members than the Democrats have returning members. It's the prerogative of the leader of the house (Johnson) when to swear new members in. He can swear all the new R members and just refuse to swear in the new D members for as long as he wants and be fully within the law.

11 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Due to rampant crime (a national security emergency) the elections will be delayed indefinetly.

11 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

THAT'S when the revolution begins

11 months ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

They'll just declare another 'temporary' emergency. Next to bullshit illegal executive orders Mango Mussolini has already done that a bunch of times.

11 months ago | Likes 85 Dislikes 1

Temporary emergencies is how Nazi Germany operated till the end too. Temporary laws that provided unlimited power to the executive were simply renewed to create the illusion of law and order.

11 months ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 0

totally bipartisan operation btw, with the dems expressing "concern" while praising themselves for their "commitment to due process and lawfulness" (aka they're complicit). Next op-ed d in the NYT : "fascism is good, actually?"

11 months ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 3

This is why trump won. Because fuckheads like you keep insisting that no matter what the GOP does, it's somehow the Democrat's fault. bOtH SiDEs, hurr durr. Gotta spread that voter apathy in preparation for the midterms. Talk about complicity

11 months ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Someone responded then deleted, being mad at my "both sides" take, to which i'll ask : with Biden in power, why has T not faced any significant repercussion, which ensured his return? Why do the Dems fight so hard against any progressive push? Not one of them will turn against the mafia state, they're all autocrats and oligarchs, cowards, hypocrites, rich and powerful. I'm not advocating nihilism, btw, it's just that we have to admit that the rest of us are simply not in the club they're in.

We are yet to see why Hegseth has called in all the Generals and Admirals...

Panama, Canada and Greenland?

Or military rule?

Or both?

11 months ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 0

There really isn't a mechanism for Trump to do that in place. Our elections are organized by the states and are essentially run at the county or municipal level. He can absolutely say that, but it would also require hundreds, if not thousands, or local officials to go along with it and Congress deciding to allow any President to pick and choose which elections are valid or not.

11 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

Theoretically yes, but Trump is clearly a dictator now that can do whatever the fuck he wants. Glad I'm in Canada until he invaded at least.

11 months ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

He's not a dictator. He's got fascistic tendencies, yes, but at the moment he does not have absolute power. All the power he currently has is entirely dependent on Congress not stopping him, its why a lot of his executive orders basically amount to either telling the executive branch to do things it already is doing or providing him with recommendations on what to do. The main stumbling block for him just outright cancelling elections is the fact it requires mechanisms that don't exist or...

11 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

... requiring the cooperation of people who have never cooperated with him before, have no reason to cooperate with him and/or gain nothing from cooperating with him.

11 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

But the results won't be overwhelmingly against them. Because people are stupid.

11 months ago | Likes 242 Dislikes 2

plus they'll have rigged everything from last week to next to make sure they cannot lose.

11 months ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

that’s my fear honestly. like all of these idiots in NoVa who got fired by Big Balls will still vote R because they can’t handle the idea of paying slightly more in taxes or a gay person existing. They’d rather bet on losing everything just to be able to vocalize hate in public.

11 months ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

USA are on their way to 1939 Germany, I really hope I am wrong

11 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

The two party system is to blame, not the voters. The ca 75 M that voted for DT aren't all idiots. People are poorly informed due to decades of disinformation spread by billionaire funded media. The Democrat's selling point is "we're not Trump". They're loyal to no one but the donor class, least of all the working man. And the DNCs self serving subservience to the 1%, which in practice has meant following the GOP ever further right, has allowed the GOP to move into unhinged territory.

11 months ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 2

Ye. Also I think USA is too far gone at this point. All guardrails put in place to stop exactly what is currently happening, are gone. There aren't any brakes anymore, and when the heritage foundation finalizes project 2025 I think drumpf will literally declare himself king. If Comey now falls, then that's reeeeeeally bad

11 months ago | Likes 59 Dislikes 4

Meh, Comey isn't the canary in the coal mine. Justice has no evidence, which is why the prosecutor had to be replaced. The new prosecutor has never tried a criminal case. Even if the prosecution was done competently, or if they had actual evidence, it's in a Northern Virginia federal court district, so they can't just railroad him. The Comey has is just intended to harrass him.

Now, there's plenty of OTHER indications that things are/are about to get really bad, so I'm not arguing too hard.

11 months ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

The only thing to hope for will be self-cannibalism when the orange sack bites it. All his cronies will be consumed with infighting during the power grab. Then will come an absolute ball ache of a problem to undo all the damage he did... But we'll see. Maybe that meteor hits us before then 🤞🏼

11 months ago | Likes 27 Dislikes 2

They're doing absolutely everything to rig elections even more. Hyper gerrymandering, etc.

11 months ago | Likes 33 Dislikes 0

All they have to do is fuck with the internet connections the electronic voting machines use.

And many of them use Starlink...

And that's exactly what happened in 2024. Several states that went solid blue downballot ended up going to Trump by 60% or more. That is statistically impossible.

11 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Wouldn't surprise me if they post ICE at every dem-majority polling station. No no, it's not "voter intimidation"; it's "election security".

11 months ago | Likes 19 Dislikes 0

It won't have to be at all Dem-majority polls, though; only strategic ones. I live in Louisville, KY. This city always votes blue, but the state ends up red.
They don't have to put resources into controlling Louisville's votes, because the state will end red anyway. It'll only be a key polls that WILL affect the final result.

11 months ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 0

True, but I'm not sure Trump's ego would permit that. He probably wants to win with a 90% majority or something.

11 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

That’s what really worries and annoys me about all the gerrymandering and rigging. Like, even during a normal election, there’s all kinds of little things that scare away voters (the weather, long voting lines,etc.). And now every week, it seems like another state is redistricting again (usually to gain more red seats) and I’m just like wow, how is it not blatantly obvious how bad they’re trying to rig things?

11 months ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

So everyone that doesn't think like us are stupids. Noted. 🤪

11 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 21

I mean... if you're objectively wrong about something and refuse to learn, then yeah, that's the very definition of being stupid.

11 months ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 1

Whenever I bring up the things Trump has done since being in office, it’s so wild to hear my mom not even try to justify it but ignore it all and just say “and I’d vote for him again!”

And then you dig deeper into her environment and see that she spends all her time living in her reality of Newsmax (not even FOX anymore), an email inbox flooded with GOP donation emails and right wing news, and on social media where the algorithm just feeds her more of the same. (Plus ads for even crazie shit.)
