Somehow I accidentally deleted my post. Posting again to share on a lupus blog. Here’s my story again if you’d like to read it. So sorry to repost!

Four years ago, I was in the hospital battling a life threatening Lupus flare. I went from being an extremely active, strong athlete, to dropping 30 pounds and losing so much muscle/strength that I was confined to beds and couches for 4 months unable to get up on my own. I went through numerous chemo type treatments/nights of unbearable pain until I was slowly crawling on the path to getting better. I still get two 6 hour infusion treatments a year and I take medication every day. It has been an uphill battle these past few years but I have learned so much about myself along the way. To anyone else out there battling lupus or any other disease, keep your head held high and never give up. TL:DR almost died a few years back from Lupus, currently kicking ass
