This pic was really cropped, if you look at the original. It was hard to balance the graininess with sharpness and then using denoise

Try to denoise only the background. Add a mask on shapening (if use lightroom to 50) and or sharp only the subject. I watched the original.

It's a good entry level camera, but it's older. It will take the same EF-S Lenses, and the EF lens. Nevertheless, it's an excellent camera
