Active duty here, I've seen a lot of people on base do stupid shit under the influence. There's a reason they don't let kids drink.

Personal experience: the guys that waited to drink (til mil or 21) binged and blacked out every trip cuz they couldn't self regulate 3/4

My parents were open about it, so I personally never put much stock in being able to drink or get drunk. On my 21st all I wanted was 4/5lol
