I remember my brother getting both of is original super soakers, good times ;)

4 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 0

That was 10,000 tickets at the arcade in the mall where my mom's laser tag place was. I saved up but never got it.

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

It's been 30 years and I'm still jealous. My mom never allowed us to get one of those because she knew EXACTLY what me & my bro would do

4 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I remember getting a Super Soaker (200?) similar like that. The water tanks were on the gun instead of on your back.

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Fuck I’m old

4 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

I got one but I had no one to soak. :(

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Daaaaaaam Boy!!!! That was the best time of our lives

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I had one too .it was awesome and it could squirt so far away .

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Supper soaker 100 over here. Our battles would have been epic.

“I finally got my junior exterminator gear! Time to kill some bugs!”

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

After Operation Paperclip work dried up, Nazi flamethrower designers had to seek employment in the toy industry.

4 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Hydra had to go into hiding too

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I'm a bit bothered that the tank is upside down, making a kink in the hose (although putting it upright wouldn't have made that any better)

4 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Shoud've been rotated 90 degrees CCW so it's laying on it's side with the hose near the floor.

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

That kink right above the kink-prevention spring.

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

They had to ban these when I was a kid because the local kids were filling them with their pee, as well as bleach. Not kidding.

4 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Felt like lugging around 100lbs of gear to me back then.

4 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

water is heavy but squirting on your friends from 20 ft away is sweet

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Mine got stolen

4 years ago | Likes 24 Dislikes 0

Well, I ended it to slay the dragon so...

4 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

Aw shit the backpack one was beast. I had the SS200 and thought I was bad ass.

4 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I got one of these for my birthday when I was like 6, my aunt Cheryl cut the hose because I sprayed her and my dad with it.

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

She was literally standing in a sprinkler and shooting us with a water pistol.

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Tell your aunt someone from the north pole hates her.

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I will, I also encourage people to join me in using “Cheryl” in place of “cunt” named after Aunt C-word

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

The memory and the exact toy are familiar

4 years ago | Likes 17 Dislikes 0

I won one of those at a carnival when I was a kid. My parents convinced me to get a 5ft stuffed Barney for my little brother instead.

4 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Your thought back then: "Hey! I like things, too! >:(" And you would have been right to be angry.

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I sprayed my friend and he kicked in my screen door. I’d do it again too

4 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

I had one of those and ruled the neighborhood during summer. Only bad thing is the hose kinked right by the tank which you can see in pic.

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I had one of these! Weeeee.

4 years ago | Likes 228 Dislikes 1

We had washing up liquid bottles.

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Me too! Just got major nostalgia vibes

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

It was so badass

4 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

It was great but the pack was so uncomfortable! Still wore it for hours though.

4 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

... i still have mine... :>

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I got one for Christmas .. in North Dakota weather, lol.

4 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Guess who’s getting frostbite for Christmas!

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Thanks Lonnie Johnson

Other people in the water fight:

4 years ago | Likes 34 Dislikes 0

thats also us poor kids.

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I had one too, I couldn't run with those tanks filled. I'd just stand in my yard and spray them being the furthest away

4 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

So did I!

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Took a whole week to fill that with piss.

4 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 2

Imagine a time when we had tiers of the middle class...

4 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 1

And we knew what tier you were based on your super soaker.

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Honestly, yes. Rich kids had the new one that summer. Poor kids had ones from 15 years prior and middle class was last summer's model.

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I'd argue that we really don't even have a middle class anymore. The US's wealth division has grown really stark ever since the 2008 crash.

4 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 1

Before the super soakers there was Entertech. had removable magazines, looked real, no colored barrel.

4 years ago | Likes 93 Dislikes 2

I had the Entertech version of the Tek 9, it was pretty sweet until I refilled from a mud puddle and it never worked again

4 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

The AK-Centerfire was the greatest toy on this or any other planet.

4 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

—with vodka to burning man one year…;)

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

In the 80s we got neon orange caps on toy guns because cops kept killing kids and no one said "maybe it's the police at fault"

4 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

Hahaha I had the Tec9!

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

And then a cop probably shot a kid, right?

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

v

4 years ago | Likes 18 Dislikes 0

Don't mind if I do

4 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Yup. I think GenXrs were the last group to see the non-colored caps.

4 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 2

I have the rocket launcher

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I had the pistol with the pack that served as the water tank. It didn't last very long. Mid 80's waterproofing and batteries did not mix.

4 years ago | Likes 33 Dislikes 0

A lot of 80s toys had zero waterproofing. Battery powered bath toys with the AA batteries fully exposed. The amphibious tanks were great.

4 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I am reasonable confident I was given the Entertech AR as a two or three year old.

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I had the UZI - was great for the short time it lasted. As other mentioned -the batteries got wet and didn't have much of a chance.

4 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

The Uzi was the best

4 years ago | Likes 15 Dislikes 0

I used to have a non-squirt-gun version that just made mechanical faux-gun noises when you pulled the trigger.

4 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I had a metal cap gun replica of some kind of Israeli pistol when I was 9. Came from my good Jewish friend

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I had the gun on bottom left. Great times.

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

yyyyyep, I had a 1911.

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

i had the sub machine gun - i was billy bad ass for about a month until super soakers came out

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Pathetic, i tried the "uzzi". They make a mechanical noise but don't squirt much water and don't shoot very far. Low battery

4 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 1

Bzzzzt, drip drip, bzzzt squirt, drip...

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I had the AK Centerfire. With new batts it fired fast & squirted better than cheap guns. Super soakers put everything else to shame however

4 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

ever tried it with tobasco inside?

4 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Weaponised hot sauce!

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I got a super soaker for my birthday one year. I was the happiest kid in the world.. for about 1 hour.. until my mom smashed it...

4 years ago | Likes 188 Dislikes 1

Will Smith shouting something about leaving your mom out

4 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 23

Was she wearing a white t-shirt?

4 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 2

Wait what why

4 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 0

Mother could not control her anger and took it put on a kids toy.

4 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

I got mine taken away because I shot my cousin right in the eye with it.

4 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

That's fucked up dude. Sounds like an entirely inappropriate response.

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I threw a snowball at my dad and he tossed me in a snowbank

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Damn. That sucks.

4 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

You misspelled "soaks"...

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

And you never sprayed your mom with it again after that?

4 years ago | Likes 99 Dislikes 0

cause it was smashed

4 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

Nope.

4 years ago | Likes 64 Dislikes 0

Not with that ;)

4 years ago | Likes 38 Dislikes 31

4 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 1

Not sure why all the downvotes.. technically correct is the best kind of correct. Not his fault all you people have sick minds..

4 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 1

Including me of course

4 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

my step dad swung my Limited Edition Purple Clear Chasis N64, by the power cable and smashed it... fun times, and many more were had..

4 years ago | Likes 14 Dislikes 0

I’m sorry. My dad was abusive as fuck, too.

4 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Sorry brother, it wasn't your fault

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Oh no bro

4 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

Ahh, that brings back memories. Not good ones. But memories

4 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Sorry brother, it wasn't your fault remember that

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Sounds like you learned a valuable lesson about self control.

4 years ago | Likes 15 Dislikes 14

Smashing a child's toy is never an appropriate response.

4 years ago | Likes 36 Dislikes 1

The Will Smith school of self control.

4 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 5

Or maybe she could have, idk, played and bonded with her fucking child who was expressing comradery with her?

4 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

Could have been learned by a dressing down and confiscating it for a few days instead of turning a super soaker into a single use plastic..

4 years ago | Likes 18 Dislikes 0

Yeeeaah, no kidding…

4 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Ya, I didn't mean to validate her behavior. Was trying to jokingly imply it must have only been destroyed because they kept annoying mom.
