Fucking pussy.

If he tried to eat that many, my money isn't on him not being psychologically damaged beforehand

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

As a Turk... Peasant. 124 in a month is rookie numbers. My arteries no longer pump blood... Just cholesterol and an early grave.

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

So, the lesson i'm taking from this is that, to be happy I need to eat AT LEAST 125 kebabs in a month. Eating any less less than that will apparently leave me "physically and psychologically damaged".

Doctors blame a man known only as 'Amir.'

Challenge accepted

He ate four every evening to raise money for charity (final total raised was £1000 . . . BUT . . . he spend well over that to buy those 124 kebabs. He should and could have just donated £1000 instead.

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I don't think he spent well over that. A kebab in the UK costs about £8 on average, so that makes almost exactly £1000 in total. And all the money he spent on kebabs wasn't spent on other food. So yeah, he could've gone one whole month without eating and donating the savings, but instead he gets to raise money AND eat kebab.

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Seems as though he was psychologicaly damaged to begin with.

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Those are rookie numbers!

He didn't push hard enough, at what point you die from delicious kebab.

I was about to hit 120 this month - thanks for the heads up. I'll dial it down now.

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Get an enema. It not only will loosen you up, I heard it's ex-laxing.

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

So 123 is the limit

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

He means the shit he took "left him physically and psychologically damaged."

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I am certain I could manage that without difficulty.

2 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

After a year of 4 kebabs a day you may have problems putting on your socks. Or breathing.

2 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

4 a day. Meat and veggies. We're they McDonald's kebobs, or like abnormally sized or something?

2 years ago | Likes 40 Dislikes 1

Consumed rectally.

2 years ago | Likes 29 Dislikes 0

So nothing abnormal about them then

2 years ago | Likes 20 Dislikes 0

Ratio is important in these situations, like the lethal limit of chicken nuggets

I think the max. amount of bananas you can eat without dying of radiation poisoning is 50 ... per second.

FFS what type of Kebabs? Doner ,Fish Kebabs..Meat kebabs ?

As a german that sounds like normal month to me

so 123 kebabs is the limit thank you sir for your sacrifice

2 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 0

like, how big though? I've had some that were absolutely massive, might just be too much food.

2 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Not THE limit, HIS limit.

2 years ago | Likes 26 Dislikes 0

We don't even know that for sure, it could've been other conditions that increased or lowered his limit in that month.

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

He might have just lost the will to eat them again, as people often will after a month of eating the same exact thing every day. So he might have been capable to eat more, but chose to stop there.

2 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 0

It seems like people have very different ideas of 'kebab' down here...

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Just like your arteries.

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I like to think of them not as rock hard arteries, but rather, as structurally reinforced.

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Like to know what kebab place he's going to. I've some good kebabs but not I'm gunna smash 4 a day for a month good.

2 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

He apparently did it to raise money for charity, so quality may not have played a part. https://www.stokesentinel.co.uk/whats-on/food-drink/man-who-ate-124-kebabs-7987027

Thanks! I was like... WHY?

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Dude raised £1000? Probably spent just as much on the kebabs themselves.

2 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

That's only 4 a day, sounds like rookie numbers.

2 years ago | Likes 652 Dislikes 1

I know right? I make my own kebabs, at home, and I eat prolly about 7-12 on the days I do it.

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Never mind that, but that's about £1200 of kebabs (a month). I think I barely spend £200 on myself.

2 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

200 in kebabs only? Still decent for a month.

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I already feel kind of sick after eating 1 kebab in a day, how this guy handles eating 4 makes me ill thinking about it.

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

What kind of kebabs are these? The kebab involving a skewer and grilling meat, veggies and/or fruits on it? I'll smash ten and be good to go

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

In England, where food culture goes to die, it's just a naan bread with sliced meat. No skewers.

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Clearly the physical and psychological damage stem from malnourishment. Only 4 a day, guy was clearly underfed.

2 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Depends on how big the kebabs were really..100g? 500g? 1kg?

2 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Or, he ate 123 in one day, then took it easy for the rest of the month

2 years ago | Likes 37 Dislikes 0

Yeah, maybe he ate at Georg's Kebab.

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

That would be quite the shit he would take. Prob where the psychological and physical damage came from.

2 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 0

I've never tried eating the same thing for a month straight, but I imagine it would suck.

Have you seen the movie documentary 'Supersize me'? McDonald's for a straight month... Let's say it verifies your statement

And not all years have 365 days. You wind up with an average of approximately 4.074 kebabs/day

So assuming they're decent kebabs they're at least 1300 calories, likely more but 1300 will do, that's 1300*4=5200 calories a day for 30 days, so yes that would fuck you up and quite frankly if you don't feel bad eating that much you should see a doctor because something serious is very likely wrong with you.

2 years ago | Likes 128 Dislikes 5

What if you ran a marathon everyday? You’re burn off the calories and you’re be fine!

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I looked up the article and it says the kebabs were 250,000 calories in total, so that'd be a smidge over 2k calories per Kebab.

2 years ago | Likes 15 Dislikes 0

I feel like the kebab scientists in charge of research on this article aren't very qualified.

2 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 0

Dear Mr. BrickShakes, hello! I am writing to inform you that, although entirely unaware of your contribution, you have provided a perfect segue for an obscure reference. And I thank you! Anyway, this French dude possibly ate a baby, likely ate some amount of human corpsemeat, and definitely ate several cats n' whatnot. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tarrare

Thank you for that strange and suspenseful bedtime story. Though I do hope I do not dream of this man tonight.

2 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

The article linked elsewhere in this thread says 250,000 calories total, so that’s more than 2k calories per kebab.

2 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

8000 calories a day is insane!

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

That's a helluva kebab.

2 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I've eaten kebabs from the local burger wagon in my home town, lucky if you get 100 calories, they're a joke, I would need to know if he is talking kebabs from a genuine Turkish kebab maker or a pretend kebab, because there is a huge difference. The first is, I can eat this like a cheeto and not think I have had anything to eat, the other is a proper loaded meal!

2 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 1

you would get more than 100 callories out of the bread alone

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Bread? They make your kebabs with bread? You've obviously never had a kebab from my local burger van, they have a strange definition of bread!

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Pita bread, a single Pita contains 165 callories according to google

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Dude, an apple has 100 calories...

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

In the picture in the actual article they look pretty big.

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Yeah his does, but is that a representative sample? Did he buy the kebabs all from the same place? Were they all the same types of kebabs? There are so many unanswered questions that need answering to prevent us from suffering the same fate! I mean maybe it's only kebabs from one particular shop that have this effect.

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

When I was training for endurance cycling events, I could have eaten those calories no problem. Without a few hours a day hard riding, no.

2 years ago | Likes 52 Dislikes 1

I burn about 3500-5000 calories on my running days, depending on what kind of run it is that day. I'm training for a marathon right now. I very much enjoy how amazing food and liquids are after a long run.

2 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Cycling just turns me into a bottomless hungry pit, I do love it though...

2 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

The only reason my wife agrees to do bike tours is that. She's constantly wanting to stop for ice cream and pizza.

2 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

It's so easy to stop and get food on a bike, we don't need to hunt for parking for 5 minutes and then walk for 5 minutes. you just pull up to the restaurant, lock the bike and go in, it's amazing.

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Im a 245 pound 6'1" guy who walks about 12-16km a day. I'd probably have to stop around 3 a day.... but the donair in Edmonton is fairly generous, so I'll stop at 2 lol.

2 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Sure that a caveat, but most people do in fact not burn 2000 extra calories a day on training.

2 years ago | Likes 24 Dislikes 2

No, but highly fit people burn more calories just sitting than people who aren't as fit.

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 4

2 years ago | Likes 15 Dislikes 0

What does a 1300 calorie kebab look like? Because the ones near me are probably 300-600 calories.

2 years ago | Likes 24 Dislikes 2

no way. the wrap is probably 300

2 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 2

Definitely not 300, the bread alone is 100-200 depending on thickness and size.

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

100 gram meat is already 300 calories alone. when you add the sauce bread etc you are over 1000 unless it's a tiny kebab.

2 years ago | Likes 18 Dislikes 2

A kebab is a quarter flat bread, stuffed with meat, lots of salad and some sauce. The meat is by far going to be the most calories in the whole thing.

2 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

100g donor flat bread is just under 400 calories
The sauce varies but around 100 to 250 calories per 100g.
We just average all the salad to 20 calories per 100g

So 200 gram meat, 100 gram bread, 150 gram salad and 50 gram sauce is already roughly 1000 calories for a 500g donor kebab, and most kebab i have ordered are more like 650grams.

2 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

A 1300 calorie kebab sounds absolutely massive

2 years ago | Likes 17 Dislikes 4

Sadly it is not, probably a standard kebab. You'd be amazed how fast calories add up. Fry is around 500cals meaning two is half most people's daily allotment of food.

2 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

People have a common tendency to underestimate the calories in food. It can be hard to find an actual dish that comes from a restaurant for only 300 calories

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

It depends on a lot. A kebab in the north of the UK is a different beast to those in the south. Depends on what meat you choose, a large doner kebab has about 200g of meat on it and if you think there's less than 500caloriees in that you're kidding yourself. The sauce and how it's made ( you can easily get 300 calories in a serving of chilli sauce depending on sugar content) is there yogurt on it? That's another 300-400 per serving.
It's very easily done if the kebab is trying to be interesting.

2 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 1

All true but the prize takeaway here is the imagine of a kebab trying desperately to be interesting

2 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0
