I have tinnitus and figured what the hell, let’s try it. It didn’t go away completely but def dropped it down to a more ignore-able level!

I also wear earplugs until I've adapted to them and then when they come out, the ringing is gone.

It works for me. At a minimum it reduces it a lot but usually makes it go away. I've had tinnitus for years and this trick changed my life.
