#6 and BBQ

The only place I accept the QR code menu is at a Korean BBQ place we like. It let's you order more meat, etc. when you are ready for it. No need to flag down wait staff.

#6 did someone edit in emojis? Y tho

#15 Manatees smell SO BAD because of this.

#25 18.99 * 2 * 1.11 = 42.16

So each pizza is that price and there’s an 11% service charge?

#2 Cyber trucks are so ugly they're actually looking at ugly in the rearview mirror it's holding up with its other hand.

2 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 1

I'm actually shocked to find out they're uglier painted! I didn't think it was possible for them to look any worse.

He knows there are, because he jizzed on them

#3 I mean, unless they’re just lookin’ for some warm holes to share…it seems like they’re settin’ theirselves up for disappointment. Whiskey dick’n all…

#2 Gas stations are fairly well lit, with lots of open space and very dubious parking rules, so it's a great alternative when the light-room tells you "ew fuck no" in response to booking a photoshoot for your shit-truck

#12 some people just don't apricate fine cuisine.

2 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

I apricate this comment.

The Old Ways also accepts gin ;)

#21 I really fucking hate those things. I know it makes me sound old, but I don't like them.

2 years ago | Likes 67 Dislikes 2

I will simply leave and never come back

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

These are also a great target for scammers. They'll put a sticker of their own QR code over the restaurant's one

2 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Yeah it's a pretty huge cybersecurity risk scanning random QR codes all the time

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

One of them wanted us to pay through the QR code too

2 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 2

Yeah it's a hard no for me. I just prefer a physical menu.

2 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 3

A place right next door to my office just opened a few weeks ago and I was going once a week for lunch. They just switched to QR menus. Sounds like the staff doesn't like them either though, so maybe they'll switch back.

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Most places you can ask for a regular menu, but its shitty to assume everyone has a smartphone.

2 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

This will 100% be downvoted but all ya'll need to get the fuck over this, it means they aren't printing the menu, they also don't have to laminate it and they don't have to wash it.

If they add or remove shit from said menus they have to throw the old ones out and print/laminate/wash the new ones. Less usage, less plastic waste and less water usage/waste not to mention less chemical usage when washing said menus.

I know some don't like change but grow the fuck up.

2 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 12

then they better fucking provide a connection to read the damned thing! We can't all afford data plans!

2 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

I don't have as much of an issue with it as some, but I am not a fan, and a large part of that is because most don't actually use them well. 3 times now I've had the QR menu be out of date and I've seen even more have spelling errors. Plus, most of the ones I've seen aren't actually formatted properly for use on a phone, so you have to awkwardly zoom in and pan around looking at shit. If they were actually done in a professional manner, I'd be quite happy.

That is the only reason I might be okay with it. But then I'd prefer them to write the menu on the wall with like a whiteboard or chalkboard or something. I don't want to have my mobile device out when I'm going out with friends or family.

This

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Your points were valid, but your attack on everyone, and repeated profanity kinda ruined it

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I'm only in my early 30's, but I will straight leave if this was the only way to find out what you served.

2 years ago | Likes 33 Dislikes 2

Yeah, if I have to visit some tracker and ad infested menu to order, I'm not ordering.

2 years ago | Likes 32 Dislikes 3

its usually just a pdf download

2 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

I was at a place the other day with them. The menu was a pdf almost 200mb in size. And they had no wifi. Just... why?!?!

2 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Okay now THAT would piss me off. I use like 500mb a month or less... My current plan is 10GB/year lol.

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

yeah. if their going to force that, they better fucking provide a connection. We can't all afford data plans.

I’m a germaphobe and these are a godsend for me. Regular menus are typically not cleaned well and are pretty gross.. I’ve seen plenty of food splooges on them, even in nicer restaurants. I’d rather just use my phone, which I keep clean. I also like paying through it, because then I don’t have to wait for multiple trips from a busy server, or touch their also gross pens.

2 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 1

That's why I always wash my hands after ordering.

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

But if they don’t have paper towels, you have to touch the gross bathroom door handle!

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I try not to think about the hundreds and possibly thousands of hands they go through, especially if they aren't laminated/plastic then they just never get cleaned.

2 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

It's just plain bad service. I don't want to be on my mobile accepting cookies and shit when I want to relax and enjoy myself.

2 years ago | Likes 54 Dislikes 2

You turn down free cookies at a restaurant? And manage to relax and enjoy yourself?

2 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

why is your phone inherently stressful? its a tool to be used, it shouldnt be stressful

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 7

and yet it is

2 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 1

I didn't say anything about stressful.
