"Yesterday you could feel a huge relief among leaders. Because it was for the first time in years that there were no Russians in the room, if you know what I'm talking about. But..." And then Robert Fico walks in while Donald Tusk winks at the reporters.
The guy that walks has been becoming less of a supporter of Ukraine lately. Some say he's pro Russia, I haven't read enough news about him to say either way. Seems more like he's walking the line between the two.
There's no "walking a fine line" between supporting Ukraine or not. If you don't support them, you're de facto siding with Russia. It's the same principle as with the saying "if there's 10 people at the table and one is nazi, there's 10 nazis at the table" but mirrored - the analogue meaning that if you don't condemn you accept it on a moral level, which is obviously unethical.
The guy walking by is Slovak PM who is pro Russian. His cabinet members went to Moscow with him a year (or so) back. They are criticise Ukraine but never Russia. They want to lift the sanctions, they want russian oil, they want the end of war on Putin’s terms
Well, the Putin/Orban/Meloni pact has been broken. So it might just be. Also, Trump has worked himself in such a mess that he is no longer capable of asserting influence. Also, Ukraine has stopped listening to US advice. So I do think the Russian newspapers are on to something.

Fico is the last corrupt Russian in the group. It's about time this criminal was kicked out too. ...

First EU summit of leaders since Orban was voted out
kuscheck
EU resolutions need unanimous votes, and Orban loved to veto anything that could harm Russia.

NO, it's NOT a joke. IT'S FUCKING REAL!

Meanwhile, Russian newspapers say that Trump has lost his usefulness to the Russian cause.
chrispisme
Well hey, they got 6 more years outa him than the USA did.

nah he's still useful https://www.reuters.com/business/energy/us-extends-waiver-allowing-countries-buy-russian-oil-2026-04-18

What oil? Russia has very limited port facilities left.

And yet he hasn't.

Might as well release the hotel room video tapes, right?
nation543
At this point, I'm rather convinced that would be CSAM. The pee tapes are likely underage girls peeing on him.
WholeWheatBunnyHugger
CSAM? Why would that be?

And the Epstein files, while they are at it.
