Tbh, I dont know that sestbelts would make it any safer. Normally, they are to prevent you from flying out, but like....this thing, flying away from it crashing might be better than being stuck to it as it rolls/slides, since you have no surrounding cage to protect you...

I'm guessing it's under the horse power limits to fall in the ebike/moped category, but since it doesn't have pedals it wouldn't qualify as either. So I'm not sure it would be considered street legal.

In the UK it may be classed as a quadricycle. Basically glorified golf carts that have not many regulations and can be driven at 16 with a provisional license. There are massive manufactured examples but I've never seen one on an actual road
