I slept like a rock last night.

Dec 3, 2023 3:14 PM

Imagine placing this on someone's bed and they go home to flop on their pillow.

Flip it over to the cool side

I just got a concussion.

10/10 would die

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

This reminds me. My current pillows are over 5 years old. >_>

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Now make a pillow that looks like a rock.

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Fill a trash bag with plaster and you get basically the same thing.

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

This is a phobia of mine! I’ve had nightmares about this!

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Cold ground was my bed last night, rock was my pillow, too.

2 years ago | Likes 22 Dislikes 1

Delivered yesterday, pillow fight with brother.....in Icu at the moment.....3 out 5 stars would recommend for annoying sibling......

2 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

For some reason I was thinking they were still using hammers and chisel.

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

They still are. It's just hitting automatically and very quickly.

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Somehow looks comfortable

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

You are my rock, Bro.

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

That's one pillow fight I'm gonna chicken out off

2 years ago | Likes 104 Dislikes 1

I snorted +1

"Not recommended for use as a 'throw' pillow."

2 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Its for heavy sleepers...

2 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 0

Underrated comment here.

2 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Who's the artist?

2 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Slept on a rock*

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

If it were a pillow, you can tell by the indentation that it's way too soft. I love that irony.

2 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

It's stony, not irony.

Lol! First time seeing this. Anyone got some sauce / intel

Founder of the "My Pillow" company. He drank deep from Trump's bullshit conspiracy theories and got in severe legal trouble because of it. Severely fucked his own company because of his idiotic antics.

2 years ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 0

Too long to nutshell the entire guy's life on Imgur, but this is from his deposition for the defamation suit from an employee of that Dominion voting machine company he claims rigged the 2020 election. Which is suing him separately.

2 years ago | Likes 27 Dislikes 0

So this is that guy's (the Director of Product Strategy for Dominion) lawyer hearing Lindell explain away using his status as a public figure to spin a tale out of thin air - to sic his followers on Coomer and dox his family, death threats, etc.

I've read the transcript to this, never knew there was a video! fuck that is better than my imagination. "Lumpy pillow? fuck you. eat a big bag of dicks" -be more comfy than your lumpyass pillow *flips table*

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

It's been a wild ride, people might forget Lindell running around D.C. with printed out plans for martial law. That crazy whiteboard with every right-wing conspiracy imaginable all connected and leading to Trump. He needs help.

2 years ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 1

Somebody is going to slam his head into this

2 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

I was just about to comment "I'd crack my head on one of these so fucking hard," soooo... yeah. That somebody would be me :D

Silicosis is rampant these days amongst the men (usually) working at making granite countertops for high end kitchens. This artist would do well to heed their experience and use a mask. He’s protecting his ears but not his lungs.

2 years ago | Likes 329 Dislikes 1

It's endemic for rock blasters and drillers, especially above ground as there is less ground water binding the dust. I live in Norway etter pretty much ALL bedrock has quartz, but still you have to fight people to get them to use breathing protection or a proper vacuum collection system on the drill rig

My neighbor died from pneumoconiosis from working in a mill. It was not a nice death. Always protect your lungs, you don't want to be drowning in air.

2 years ago | Likes 79 Dislikes 0

My Father in Law passed a couple years ago, had some nasty lung issues which we think was related to 40 years of cutting trees. His last few years were basically like slow drowning, tied to an O2 canister.

2 years ago | Likes 15 Dislikes 0

I read that as scoliosis at first, and was VERY confused lol

2 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Stone lung. It really fucks you up

2 years ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 0

Marble is calcium carbonate CaCO₃ so technically not silicosis (which is solely caused by silica dust), but chalicosis or COPD from dust inhalation can get you anyway. — https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chalicosis https://en.w">alicosis">https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chalicosis https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chronic_obstructive_pulmonary_disease

Thank you for the correction. As an Emergency Physician, my focus was always, “Don’t get rocks in your lungs” and the distinctions really don’t matter.

“Define what an ‘assault rifle’ is for me. I’ll wait.”

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

My brain read the first word as scoliosis 3 times in a row and was so incredibly confused

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Totally agree, but I'm guessing they took it off for the camera

2 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 3

Nope. I have yet to see anyone in the trade wear a mask, whether it be marble sculpting or making kitchen countertops. I've spent 5 years in clouds of dust where I could barely see what I was doing. I guess I can only hope that I didn't fuck myself up too badly.

2 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Stonemason! Yup, it’s rare for people to wear masks. Construction sites have gotten better here in the U.K., with most companies now requiring you to do ticket training for how to safely fit a mask and wear one when making cement/lime mortar in the last 6 or 7 years (before that? No masks even for that). For the more monumental masonry side like this? People sometimes wear them indoors. But for some reason most people seem to think being outside means you don’t need a respirator

Somehow still more comfortable than MyPillow

It's not yellow enough

...and less likely to give you cholera

2 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Bahahha excellent comment. Fuck lindell.

2 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

And since it's technically only one lump of stone, much less lumpy than a My Pillow also.

2 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Look I may dislike Mike Lindell but I really like my My Pillow (bought before any politics stuff, which is dumb I need to clarify about a pillow but...)

2 years ago | Likes 22 Dislikes 1

Me too. I love this lumpy fucker lol

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Its a pillow how badly can you fuck it up just fill a cotton sack with microplastics

2 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

From what I read he has a few different models and apparently the highest cost ones are not horrible but he does sketchy business practices like uses photos of the nice ones online but sends the cheap ones. And tons of other consumer complaints you can check out on the BBB (Better Business Borough) I tried one in a mall a decade ago and it just seemed like a low quality pillow and in general pillows with fill like his get very lumpy especially if you have a heavy head like I do. Lindell sucks.

*Bureau. A borough is a town

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I used one at an Airbnb recently and thought it was far too stiff and just generally uncomfortable for sleeping.

2 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

I also love my MyPillow. Fuck Mike Lindell but for me, it's the best pillow I have ever used.

2 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I travel with my pillow ( not a " my pillow" ) so I get it.

I love how angry he gets about "lumpy pillows". I have a shredded memory foam pillow, not from his company but the same thing, and it IS lumpy sometimes, just as a result of the filler material. The material moves around and needs to be adjusted once in a while. I quite like my lumpy pillow, but I want to prank call this guy every day about lumpy pillows just to annoy him.
