I have been chased by brown bears in Alaska. They are even more frightening than he gives credit for. They are HUGE and could tear you apart in an instant. Unlike a black bear, you would have no chance against one of these behemoths.

An apex predator approached me, a weak fat idiot, in a “playful” way. What happened next will amaze you!

Whatever yellowstone

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

It's goddamn unfair how pretty this guy's eyes are. I had to rewatch the clip 3 times because I kept getting distracted by them.

2 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

I've been told if you never want to see a brown bear while out in nature. Unless you're on opposite sides of a river.

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I get why they choose the bear. In any case, I will never fuck with a bear. They'll eat you from the feet up while you're still alive.

“Now I just need to figure out which one of these cowards shit in my pants”

“Photograph me like one of your French bears”

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Still only counts as a 2/2!

Wildlife photographers have some balls. I want to follow them to their favorite haunts for photo ops, not for bears though.

2 years ago | Likes 120 Dislikes 1

Don't forget, super long range camera lenses. They're not getting as close as you think

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Oh, I know, I have one, but that doesn't eliminate all the risk

So far, the most dangerous animal I have photographed has been fox, and they were babies. I do very much want to get moose.

Damn... That's a lucky shot and they are lucky she wasn't interested in making them food.

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Well, I guess they were just blessed by the princess of Alaska's wilds?

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Those claws are massive!

2 years ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 0

Brown bears are, basically, grizzlies that are so big that they don't give a damn. Very closely related, and, by reputation, a bit milder in temperment, but, still ....

2 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Only to claw you to pieces my dear :)

2 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

The photo was recovered from the camera found near his body...

You made me actually look it up to check lol

"If not food, why food shaped?" - bear probably. Turns out almost everything is food shaped to a bear so, as usual, this is the humans fault. (Now read that again in your head in Morgan Freeman's voice. You're welcome)

2 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 0

Well we think it was his body. it was mostly just a puddle of meat

2 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 1

I don't think they would leave much meat

His Brown Bear pants. (Unless further than 150 miles from the coast. Then that joke doesn't work.)

2 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Nah it works. Grizzlies are still brown bears.

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

That's a good shot.

I thought it was going to be a picture of him and his mates pissing their pants

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Nature photo of the year material, if you ask me

2 years ago | Likes 17 Dislikes 0

Hey man, nice shot!

2 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

What a good shot, man.

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I'd say that it's an amazing shot.

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

If not for pets, why friend-shaped?

2 years ago | Likes 566 Dislikes 4

I'm pretty sure we've engrained the idea of bears being "friend shaped" by the generations that have had Teddy bears.(Since 1902). We made them friend shaped.

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Nuh-uh. Nature is fucking with our minds, just taunting us to get into deep shit by putting cute little things on danger critters.

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

You can pet. But they pet back.

My first thought is always: Oh look at that nose. Boop it!
My second thought is: BEAR! BAD! WILL MUNCH YOU!

2 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Have seen one up close (though not THAT close) in the wild. Monke survival instincts kick in and they no longer look friend shaped LOL

If bears are big scary predators, explain this

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Our ancestors let us down on this one!

2 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

If I was being eaten by a bear I would 100% sneak in a few pets

2 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Bear is distance fren. I know, it sucks.

Aww Sweet little inside mouth pets

2 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Come on, you can definitely get in an ear scritch or two

2 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 0

I mean it’s possible the nerves will fire as he’s munching on your arm detached at the elbow, but highly unlikely

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Question, before or after you meet.. whatever you believe in?
