Alright I will say it and probably be downvoted into oblivion, but I do not like the taste of Kerrygold butter and it overpowers everything I've tried it on/in (including baked goods, icing, sauces, grilled cheese, garlic bread, and toast). I truly don't see the appeal. If I feel like spending stupid amounts of money on butter, I'll just get it fresh from the farmer's market.

Kerrygold is good butter, but even cheap butter is delicious. As long as you're using any butter at all instead of margarine, you're already doing well with regards to flavor.

I mean, all the butter back in the UK and Ireland is pretty much like this. I was shocked at how bad US butter is. European butter has a much higher butterfat %age

KerryGold is the best butter, their salted one is used in a lot of my cooking. Some of my Irish recipes call for it specifically. Their Dubliner cheese is both sweet and nutty!

My mother was the sole broker to the usa for Cheese from Britain, the largest dairy conglomerate. She is why we have such good cheeses and butter (kerrygold was one of her first clients) in all the big grocery chains in the usa

Beurre de baratte, with the sea salt flakes will rewire your brain. In the blue package. If you see it buy it, its like $8 for half pound so nit cheap but not like stupid expensive but 100% worth the splurge. That on some fresh sour dough. I've never just cut a piece of butter off a block and eaten it straight up, but I had to stop myself before I ate half of the stick.
