We used to have free college. People got smart enough to start fighting back and they took that all away. You can thank the Reagan administration for that too. Understand that if libraries were proposed as a new thing today, america would never let it pass.

The place I live just renewed the dedicated millage for our Library system for the next 10 years. I found out that ~35% of voting people here are fucking stupid at the local level... ... which I kind of already knew...
