I've been wondering what we needed to defend Greenland from. Apparently The Fire Nation...

I was totally waiting for a US Warship coming into view. I have developed strong trust issues.

Perspective is a really funny thing. From this distance and angle it kinda looks like a toy boat

I can hear the sounds on the deck of that ship. As calm as it looks the crew is hyper aware that the calm can sometimes suddenly turn to chaos

A little bit to close to the ice. Aren’t those just split, turn over and eat that little ship?

After a moment of thought: is it a good idea to be in a sailing ship that close to a potentially calving iceberg ?

Only a very skilled captain could or would. Hopefully it’s a steel or aluminum hull. But if the wind picks up things could get real dangerous real quick. A lot boats built for these waters are double hulled. Look up the Garcia Explorer if you’re interested.

It wasn't that, I was thinking that a high speed exit to get out of the danger zone is impossible.

At some point you gotta ask yourself... Is that orange racist goon actually thinking that Inuits are Chinese?

7 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I love that it’s a sailboat

7 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Oh no! Is that one of those hundreds of Chinese ships surrounding Greenland!! OMG!! How terrible!

The ice cube in my bourbon.

Icebergs are way too unstable to sail this close, particularly if you can see that they've already flipped, like above. (Unless enclosed in sea ice.)
